Spike? He's an awesome character and all, but I don't really see him as being the epitome of the concept of manliness.

I agree with a bunch of the characters previously mentioned, in particular Musashi and Guts. I'm going to have to go with Kenji from Eden and Afro from Afro Samurai, since they go up against some crazy opponents with their weapons of choice being a knife and sword, respectively.

Munsu from Shin Angyo Onshi, and Musashi from Vagabond. Mostly Munsu though in my case. The guy is just...so....freaking...BADASS!

Ya, Spike isn't really Gar, If anyone, Id say it was Jet. He's Gar-ish...... Ya......

And after thinking, I've thought of another one that hasn't been said. Ranma from Ranma 1/2. If Ranma wasn't a hot chick half the time, He would be so Gar. In fact, he still IS Gar, and thats the awesomeness of the situation. He's so Gar, Women fall for him like Flowers, Men fall for him like Leaves, and his dad sits there and eats all the profits...... The point is, Ranma is Gar, Even though hes a she sometimes.

i'd have to day Hanma Yujiro and maybe biscuit olivia (think thats his name), but especially Hanma Yujiro his awsomeness can not be measured on any scale you get an indication of his awsomenes if you read Baki - son of ogre, there is a short arc there about when yujiro is born.

Light, although sadistic and super bad-ass, Is not Gar. His ending was the worst to ever fall upon a Gar-candidate.

Lelouch. Well...... Lelouch isnt Buff enough. He does no martial arts. He cant eat rocks. He does NOTHING manly. All he does is sit back and manipulate. And for a sissy reason, too. His sister.

And heres another candidate. Narumi from Karakuri circus. When you can break a car BARE HANDED, Then you can say You're Gar.

Now that, You'd have to ask this as well. Alucard from the Hellsing Animu, or from the Hellsing mango.

Alucard from the Hellsing animu was Gar for about half the series, then it just went down the drain.

While in the mango he is Infinitely Gar.
