Here is what I originally wanted to say:
"You still waste your time with this children book? People like you are to blame for the childish reputation of manga."

But I also think everyone has the freedom to read what he wants. My main advice to you is ** to give seinen manga a chance. Shonen series are only a small part of it. There are so many fascinating kinds of manga waiting for you. You only need to look around and to try less known series. **

Not people like him. It's the kids. I don't think there are so many kids on this forum. I think most of the people who have posted in this topic have read a seinen at least once. I read plenty Seinen myself. Some people think they lower themselves if they read Shounen after reading a Seinen. Actually they've experience the same thing 1st time Shounen readers do. They've discovered what "really" is good lol.

The SJ magazine target boys 13+, and it's actually recommended that kids under that age don't read it most of it. Of course noone cares. When it comes to anime the age is lowered a bit. That means that most kids are "allowed" to see Star Wars before they read SJ lol. 😀 😎

Yes, it's simply a difference in reading experience. Experienced readers would never be as useless and open fanboy topics, making popular series even more popular. They'd rather support new and unknown series.

And you just keep bashing.. For someone who reads mature literature, you sure don't act mature..

You do realize that you just called yourself immature..? 🤣

Anyways, Naruto isn't bad and is a good introduction to manga/anime, if you aren't familiar with it..

No, what I tried to say is that it's bullshit to suggest that anyone is too mature or experienced to read anything (if it's not really ment for kids that is). It's actually quite immature and unexperienced to suggest the opposite. My father is soon 60 and he reads Donald Duck & co. He also reads novels and sh*t. One of my younger friends was 14 when I introduced him to seinen. And he totally digged in. Of course he did. But he still reads many marvel comics, and now he is 19 (or was it 20 ? 😕 ).

You should support what you like, If you truely mean it is good. And it's important to maintain your inner child to have a good social life, and not drown in your own pride.

forget that. I'm confident Naruto is meant for kids but that shouldn't stop anyone from reading it. Same with One Piece. Even if something is REALLY made for kids shouldn't stop anyone from reading it. Doraemon anyone ^_^. But seriously, different appeals from different types of manga.
😀

Then what is a kid? In my book you're no longer a kid when you're 10-13 (depending on the person. You can still mentaly be a kid 'til you'e 150) . That doesn't stop me from calling people younger than me kids though.

doesn't matter how you define a kid. all i'm saying is that what the primary demographic is for a manga shouldn't be whats stopping you from reading it.

If not that than the words "good taste" should be sufficient to stop you from reading Naruto.

Continue this somewhere else besides this forum.

And for the record, yes, I still read Naruto. It's an okay series, but not the best thing in the world. I take no side in this argument
