I'm looking for a good shoujo-ai manga that's somewhat long and has a plot. I don't want one-shot or ecchi/yuri stuff. Or Harem.

These are only ones I could think of with multiple volumes (besides those mentioned in the previous post, Girl Friends is definitely a good one), there probably are still a few more around though... Sadly most shoujo-ai manga are either oneshots or single volume.

Both also have an Anime available, but the mangas are better and have more content.

Octave and Girl Friends are really great, like mentioned above. Others I could recommend are: Sasameki Koto, Free Soul, Hanjuku Joshi, Love My Life, Strawberry Shake (althought it's more of a comedy, but still good). Also I recommend authors whose work are generally great and you should check them out, Morishima Akiko, Yamaji Ebine and Otsu Hiyori.

Aoi Hana there is some mention of sex, though sex isn't completely explicit....
Sasameki Koto It's a long series, but it didn't hold my interest...
Ameiro Kouchakan Kandan a relaxed and easygoing story, not too long
Strawberry shake sweet
Hayate x blade romance is more sub textual and story is more focused on action
Yamanko! kinda weird kinda funny
