At the moment I'm looking for suggestions where the main character is involved with sport as the centre of the story. I'm probably more into the 'realistic' type ones such as crimson hero or even something like prince of tennis, if thats a starting point to go by, although any suggestion is fine really.

Try just about anything by Adachi Mitsuru.
