Well i'm looking for relatively lighter works - meaning no rape :/ people seem to be recommending a lot of that, and less emoing about in the manga too. Gore is fine, and i prefer a storyline that goes somewhere, meaning no Jojo's bizarre adventure or to-love-ru, or Fruits Basket/Land of the blindfolded

Well, i also look for art in manga, so do recommend nice art 🙂

Didn't see Yotsubato! on your list. It's the funniest thing ever.

I don't read much shoujo, but tried Beast Master recently. Pleasant and light, although a bit cheesy.
