I mean 'down to earth' in the sense of being realistic.
I just read a newly scanlated manga called Bonnouji that was really refreshing. I haven't read anything so sweet, simple, and nice in a long time.
I just want there to be nothing irksome or dramatic, I just want a pure romance I guess. Ex.-akagami no shirayukihime and spice and wolf.
No love triangles please.
*Does this even make sense?*xD

I don't want anything too mature.

(Sorry about my crap English. I woke up and forgot how to type today xD)

Edit: And I can't read anything with "plastic" art. Like in Karin

I can't speak much for shoujo, but here's some shounen manga you might like.

It's a bit quirky, but simple and sweet: Mysterious Girlfriend X
Completely scanlated, but more comedic with a slow romance build: Mahoraba
Simple story, looks like a slow romance too: Tonari no Kashiwagi-san
I know you said no love triangles, but it all ends out nicely (according to the anime, anyway): Toradora!
Got some supernatural elements, but the storyline is quite interesting and it updates weekly (the manga, not the scanalations 😛 ): Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa

Also: Karin

I don't recall any love triangles in it (there's no "love triangle" tag), but Eensy-Weensy Monster was awfully cute and refreshing IMO.

Well you can try stuff by Iketani Rikako such as
Bitou Lollipop
Chiisai Hitsuji wa Yume wo Miru
Futago

All three are realistic portrayals of Teen Love.
Also try reading Sakisaka Io's works such as
Strobe Edge
Mascara Blues
Blue (SAKISAKA Io)
Ao Haru Ride

Others that are worth a mention are:
Ojousama no Himitsu
Seishun Survival
And you can check out other works by the authors of the above two manga

If you don't mind little romance, I would strongly suggest Kimi to Boku. It's really light-hearted and easygoing, very easy to enjoy 🙂

Strobe Edge and Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa, are pretty far off.

Kimi to Boku is a perfect example. So let's just say I need that only with more romance xD

Thanks everyone, but I've already read the ones you reccomended.
