i like math but i would take a science course like physics and chem over it mostly i just do the homework and if i have trouble with something i contemplate over it till i realize what i did wrong but what i hate about math is so far whenever i ask my teachers why something happens they're like you'll learn it later. i'm in precalc but i wish i hadnt moved i mean i was in a place with a school very much like lambs and would've been in a higher course but yeah oh well.

Math was my strongest subject in high school. It's a shame i didn't take it in university. 4 years and not a single math course >.<

I received my degree in Mathematics. A few of us decided that the only difference between a normal person and a math major is that a math major can sit down for hours working on their homework...and then move onto the next problem 🙂

Finals were usually spent untangling the logic of multi-page proofs so that you could recreate them on tests while showing that you understand them. Ohhhh the memories.

Don't worry if math homework takes a while to do. It takes a lot of people a long time to finish.

I is a college stoodent.

Wow! What great English you have too.

I'm good at math, do random questions for fun. Once it get really high level, turning into remembering formulas and solving word problems, I start to really hate it.

I'm homeschooled and I used to do three or four mathbooks a year just because I thought it was fun. If I got bored, I'd do extra math homework. Probably why in sixth grade, I passed the eight grade leap test in the top half of the state. 🙂

Geezus. I hate to sound sexist, but it seems guys have it easier in subjects like math and physics... 😐

If it makes you feel better, I'm a female and I'm majoring in physics?

I teach mathematics(HS).

Loved it in hs, and breezed through it to calculus (senior year only), then took it up to differentials(hated but had a crappy professor) and Linear Algebra(loved it).

Then I took a few years off to get my Computer Science and Engineering degree, then decided I didn't want to change jobs every few years(I hate writing a resume) and realized I had wanted to be a teacher and would rather help people out than sit in a cubicle, and here I am teaching geometry and algebra 2.

My goal for my students is to get a calculus class by the time they're seniors(very few calculus classes in LA).

coincidently, i picked my classes for next semester today, and got linear algebra, how would you describe it?

cool see everybody for the most part amped about math.
@lybi- thats awesome

I cannot follow physics to save my life.

I haaaate physics 🤢 I'm not saying it's hard. Chem's harder, imo. But I just haaate it, someone's against me too, always giving me sucky teachers.

I like math though. Used to be pretty good at in high school. Upper levels in college, I'm just average, I'm just glad I'm done (almost - still have physics) with it! XD

Lybi, I need you to tutor me! 🤣

That. I'd rather do Physics than Chemistry any day.

I'd pick chem over physics.

I love watching the specials on discovery/science channel about physics though, for some weird reason. I think it's interesting, just not for me.

I detest Maths. I got my Pre-Mock exam Maths result back today, I only got 37% and that's in Ordinary Level. Christ...

High school math is easy. I got A's in them easily. But when I went to college and became an engineering major, I had to take soooo many math classes. Eventually I realized I was in over my head when I started taking classes on partial differential equations.
