  1. Saint Seiya
Saint Seiya is special to me. It was what got me addicted to manga. I saw a picture of Aquarius Camus and decided to watch the anime because he was cool. I never imagined I was going to like Saint Seiya that much. I really like Saint Seiya - The Lost Canvas and Saint Seiya Episode G as well, but the classic series were the best. Also the fandom is awesome. I forgot how many fanfics I've read or write.

  2. Yu Yu Hakusho
If Saint Seiya got me addicted to manga, Yu Yu Hakusho helped me to get more and more addicted. When I started to read it, I knew it was perfect. Because the main character dies in the first chapter, how cool is that?! Then Kurama and Hiei showed up and I started to like it even more.

  3. Color
My first yaoi manga and my second Zaou Taishi manga. I love the story, the art... A lot of people think that Color is a silly and cliché yaoi manga, but I couldn't care less. I love it, it is special to me.

  4. Gintama
I love comedy manga, shounen manga, parodies and exotic main characters. Gintama have all of these.

  5. Seven Days
Color is ranked 3 because I like it for more than five years. But I read Seven Days only a few months ago and it managed to get in my top 5. I love the story. Such a sweet romance.

Vassalord also is one of my favorites, as Hetalia, but they aren't that special to me as the others are. 😀

  1. Kisu yori mo Hayaku
  2. Otona no Jikan
  3. Kiseijuu
  4. Hapi Mari
  5. Sensei wa Ore no Mono

See a theme? and the freakishly out of place one 0.o?

Hmm...romance (most with older male/younger femal) and Kiseijuu. Lol I don't blame you though. Kiseijuu is amazing.

My #1 fave is Bleach

1)Kuroshitsuji. Love it.

2)Fruits Basket/Rurouni Kenshin. My first two mangas ever: first shoujo and first shounen. They have a special place in my heart.

3)Rurouni Kenshin/Fruits Basket

4)Savage Garden. The perfect tragedy.

5)Mushishi. I love this world.

It's funny, because all of these mangas are very different from each other. I guess it makes sense though, like I'm covering all the bases or something.

**1. World Embryo. **Very intense seinen manga with the most different and interesting main character I've evey encounteren in any manga.
2. Kuroshitsuji. Just a very good story with a great cast of characters. It's nice to have a cold jerk like Ciel as the main character.
3. Gravitation. I can't help loving the bizare characters and insane humor in this manga. One of the few shounen-ai's I can read withour getting nausious.
4. Vampire Knight. I'm definetly not a vampire fan, but this manga is the awesomeness. And it gets better and better as the characters mature.
5. Chrono Crusade. Just an incredibly touching story, you can't help falling in love with the characters. Plus Rosette is the most kickass female protagonist ever. xD

Sorry, but I have more than 5 top manges, which are VERY hard for me to arrange:

  1. Naruto and One Piece - They are like Harry Potter, maturing (and getting better) together with the reader. At least that's in my case (I started reading them 6 years ago).
  2. Double Arts - I consider it the best Shounen battle manga of all times. Some say that the ending was rushed, but I believe that it's how it should be. Masterpiece.
  3. Akumetsu and Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro - Brilliantly depicted dark side of human nature. Whilst some may not like the art, the plot is sharp like katana. Close to perfection.
  4. Angel Densetsu and Kyou kara Ore wa!! - I just can't stop laughing when I read it. I infected at least 3 people with manga virus, using Angel Densetsu as catalyst.
  5. Kiseijuu - Flawless.

Other mangas worth mentioning:

Kenji - I started practicing martial arts and learning more about Chinese philosophy after reading that manga. In my opinion, the best martial arts manga.
Confession by Fukumoto Nobuyuki and Kawaguchi Kaiji - The suspense! The plot! The twist! This manga has it. But why is it so short...?
Skip Beat - My favorite shoujo manga. Lovable main character and manly man.
Bitter Virgin - The only josei that I got through! Powerful story and it's just.. humane. Could be a real life story as well.
Veritas - My favorite manhwa, it's a diamond, convincing storyline and twists. Probably one of my favorite male characters.
Web manhwas from Daum and Naver - They are of very high quality. Introducing new ideas to comic books.

I never thought Kiseijuu was that great, I'm rather surprised at all the "amazing; flawless" comments. :/ Haha oh well.

I'm not going to give a summary of them, because I'll probably just make them sound like crap. They're worth a read, though.
My favourites are:

Meteor Methuselah - I suppose this one is shoujo-oriented, but there is plenty of shounen and action. The story is tragic and unique, I love it. It's my top manga of all time.

Kanata Kara - It's shoujo-based, but I love this fantasy-based series. Has plenty of action and tons of adventure.

Kimi wa Pet - Whether you're into shoujo or not, you have to admit that this one has a highly unique story and great characters. I thought it was a tad long for its idea, but I was never bored with it.

Shin Angyo Onshi - This one isn't close to being in my top favourites, but it had a great story, great art, and kept me captivated the whole way through.

Mekakushi no Kuni - I may be biased with this one as it was one of the first mangas I read, but it has great characters and character development, and a rather uncommon story. Has a few shoujo cliches, though not enough to ruin it.

Also One Piece, but everyone should know how awesome that one is by now 😉

Not a big deal, it's just opinion. I just personally love it but I do know some people who don't, same goes for every manga.

Anyways I think I'll but my top 5:

1.Bleach (first manga)
2.Berserk (getting kinda lame but still a masterpiece)
3.Nodame Cantabile
4.Girlfriends
5.Bronze no Tenshi
