yep, solanin is it. then fruits basket, but it might be because it was the first manga too. school rumble because it was terribly funny and angel sanctuary (I loved the characters and story, it was wicked.) the fifth place is still free, but I would say basara or mushishi or the beauty is the beast...... hana yori dango was good too..... I like long series.

Rurouni Kenshin- This got me hooked on manga
Shin Angyo Onshi- Dark story and a badass protagonist
Gintama- Funniest thing I've ever read
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles- Complex plot and endearing characters, my friend's favorite
Dance in the Vampire Bund- A new twist on vampire stories, plus a little fan service

My Current top five are:

1 - Tokyo Crazy Paradise (this is great i read it twice so far)
2 - Skip Beat (This is funny, and she scares me)
3 - GUNNM & GUNNM: Last Order (This is a great sci-fi to read, also james cameron is making a movie out of it)
4 - Red River (I don't know why I like this. Im a guy so i have no excuses for this 🙁 at least i can get away with skip beat being funny 😀 )
5 - Sekirei (Girls with big boobs and super powers fighting eachother..... need i say more)
