My list of "favorites" tends to be skewed towards series from my childhood because I've developed such an attachment to them now lol, so it's usually not my "Top 5 Recommendations" list. A lot of times though, if I decide that it was the anime that got me into the series more than the manga, I won't include it, which also eliminates a lot of older series where let's face it- the anime was more awesome. Also, I'm not comfortable placing a series that hasn't ended yet in lists like these. Anyway, pardon my long intro:

1. Please Save My Earth - If I had only one manga I could read for the rest of my life, it would be this. I would re-read it and re-re-read it...

1. Gokusen - But I guess nobody really treats the manga seriously since there arent any real drama, to what people compare it with, GTO.

2. Death Note - Even though I didn't like where my favorite character dies, I still got entertained.

3. Kare Kano - One of the first mangas I had read and actually liked it.

4. Ai-Ren - Many may not like it, but it felt a lasting impression on me that broke my heart everytime I think of the manga. Somehow I find it beautiful.

5. Fruits Basket - Need I say more? and plus with a beautiful ending, where can I go wrong?

6. Runouni Kenshin - EXCITING. Love the anime aswell. But dont get me started on the OVA. I dont like it.

Not because the main character dies and the wife dying, it's just I know it wasnt meant to be that way, even the mangaka said so (he didnt write it). And the son, I felt for awhile the son was just nothing at all to the parents. Uhm, I said too much.

I have a lot more, I would have said 4 more, but they're arent finished yet. I only mentioned the ones that are finished. I don't want to mention the ones that arent, cos the ending maybe a let down or something along the way might screw it up.

1. Bleach - because it's running for a very long time and i have read almost all of bleach until the present.

2. The Breaker - Because it is the best martial arts manga period, i have been following it only for a few months and HSDK for half a year and i got to admit that the breaker far surpasses HSDK. Cant wait to read the rest of New Waves 😀 😀 .

3. HSDK - It's my second best favorite martial arts manga and it is never boring in my opinion.

4. Kimi no iru machi - Because i like the romance in it very much and sometimes the chaos in it because of that retard of a eba 😛

5. Ai-ren - Ai-ren is a good romance read, but what i discoverd in Ai-ren is that the tragedy is the main part of Ai-ren and i almost cried, when i readed the few chapters at the end.

I can't really decide an order, but i like The Breaker, Holyland, Fairy Tail, Yotsubato, and Berserk. There are many others i like but there are so many that i'm drawing a blank lol >> so there's five.

1. Bleach (Okay its been crappy since some time now, but in the awesome parts, never seen anything better)
2. Ao No Exorcist (super awesome! cant wait for the next chapter)
3. Naruto (this was the one that got me into anime/ manga, so it holds a special place in my heart)
4. One Piece (Just love it!)
5. Fairy Tail (Fairly Interesting)

Ok i Know bleach naruto and all are kiddo stuff to some, but I like them and thats me.. no need to flame..

Oh and btw, I like shounen manga the most (guess u guessed that already 😛 )
