I don't know if Tenjou Tenge is shounen or seinen (I've seen it classifed as both, and does seem to wander between the two categories), but, if so, Natsume Maya would definitely qualify, I would think.

How about Superior? It's classified under shounen. The main character is Demon Queen Sheila.
Zombie-Loan is also classified under shounen, but to me it feels more like a shoujo.

They are shoujo. I don't see why guys would want to read something about magical girls. (sailor moon)

I'm pretty sure Nanoha is more popular with guys, but it sort of combines shoujo and shounen elements. I'm also pretty sure Cardcaptor Sakura has a pretty big male fanbase, and that's 100% shoujo (unless you consider CLAMP it's own genre).
Anyways, time to add more to the list.
Souleater - Maka
Crimson Grave - Miriam

I'm tempted to. Actually, that's got me thinking - Chobits (yeah, seinen, but) kind of splits the protagonist between Chi and Hideki (with a really big focus on Chi in the later parts of the manga). Philosophical, but not really dark.
Chrono Crusade
shrugs I think that's another one where the protagonist position is kind of split, with the focus being more on Chrono.

Is Bitter Virgin Shojo? The art style kinda looks Shojo.
Glados is a bitch. She made me kill the companion cube, the only friend I'll ever have. 😢

I always assumed it was shonen/seinen (don't know how/why it's listed as shojo on it's info page) 'cause solaris-svu always does shonen/seinen, square-enix doesn't publish shojo, and the feel of the manga definitely isn't shojo. Wondering if someone just edited that in 'cause the manga has romance.

what are you talking about? Bitter Virgin is SEINEN. and the info page does not list it as shoujo.

For a while now, the info page has been listing it as both seinen* and shoujo-which yes I know is technically impossible, but that's what it's been doing. If I'd known you were gonna debate it, I'd have taken a screen cap. I guess someone edited in between when I last checked and when you did, probably 'cause of this thread.
*I was unsure if it was shonen or seinen 'cause of the characters ages and the magazine, not 'cause of the themes, but thanks for clarifying.
Somewhat on topic: Scrapped Princess has a female lead, Samurai Champloo splits the lead between two guys and a girl.

A female leader? Why does Angela Merkel pop up in my mind?

There is also slayers, but I never read any manga about it (only seen the animes), but there are some. It's a fantasy/comedy setting, there was 3 26 eps season + a few oavs/movies.

Hmm...
Midori Days kinda works. She's part of the lead character's body, does that count?
Pretty Face is a stretch, too.
How about Rose Hip Zero and Rose Hip Rose?

C.A.T has a female lead.
You can find it on onemanga.com
Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?
