very light hearted and short but fun read. Different genre from what i think you wanted but everything else seems to be the same.

Love Roma - a funny seinen, not great art. noone's actually smart but its a cute manga. The guy isnt exactly smart and is a bit dumb but that doesnt mean he does outrageously stupid things.
Swan lake first story might be an okay example since the guy and the girl are popular.
Love Junky Guy isnt ur stereotypical goofy but is a thug and man, does he try to bully the girl into liking him..actually I like delinquent romance mangas so its just me..
I always do end up recommending Peach girl, I dunno why I just need an excuse to recommend this one 😀

EDIT:- Also, how about cynical orange, no way, no how will beauty accept playboy's love... but the guy is persistent.. and fr the mean guy part, hw about Kodocha?
