Ok, I used the search thingie, and none of it was exactly what I was looking for...

I'm looking for historical manga, kind of serious...
Shounen/seinen (not really looking for a shoujo...but if there's one that fits, feel free to recommend. And no, I do not want something like Red River. >.>)
Action would be nice. But I don't really want huge amounts of gore...like HUGEEEEE amounts of blood and guts like Shigurui. Maybe a little more mild like Vagabound or Claymore?
Romance is nice. 😉
Something like Otoyomegatari or Historie would be awesome.

SPORTS MANGA. 🤣 (Nothing by Adachi Mitsuru please...I'm reading Cross Game and I still keep thinking it's H2 when I'm reading it.)

3- Vampire Juujikai, Chrno Crusade probably depending on my meaning of epic, since I'm assuming for epic a story that occupies a long time. If with epic you just meant something really good, then everything on my signature.

Notable manga on your wishlist beside SAO already mentioned are Gunslinger Girl and Übel Blatt (if you don't mind a lot of fanservice at least in the first couples of volumes). Not on your list but highly suggested judging by whay you read Ookami to Koushinryou.
