Romance where both Main Characters are Popular

What I want is a romance where both of the main characters are popular in school. I am tired of the "girl getting bully for getting too close with the popular guy". Two examples would be Kare Kano and Special A.
Please no ecchi, smut, yuri/yori, gender bender

thanks for the suggestions but I don't think Romance from the Thumb fits. Show Princess has the right idea except that she seems more hated than liked from what I read.

Shinshi Doumei Cross the heroine isnt popular at the start but she has many admirers and a lot of people fall for her, the main guy is popular!
-Even though this has a little yuri (best friend of girl likes her a little)
-also has a yaoi couple and a guy falls in love with the main guy, but they arent the main characters (im not a big fan of yuri or yaoi also but i feel its cute and sweet and want to cheer for them when i read this!)
It's a good story 😀 and good art!

Shinshi Doumei Cross is, at best, shounen-ai and shoujo-ai, not yaoi or yuri. You don't see them do anything.
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.
