So, I am looking for something different, more mature-like, a bit more deep...I mean, I have tried like 4 seinen and they just were too much for me, like too...raw...it is just that I don't like to see a story about only cruelty, or only blood and sex or senseless violence.
OK folks, if the original post was "too long to read" at least read this part before making recommendations. Please. (_)
Some of the suggestions posted so far are so SO far off from what the original poster asked for. 😔

That's why I told her to change the title. 😮
Cat Street
Death Note
Eternal Sabbath
Fullmetal Alchemist
Monster
Nodame Cantabile
Shin Angyo Onshi
Superior
I think you'd appreciate these manga.

yotsubato! not really thought provoking, but its funny as hell in the kind of humor I think you'd appreciate.
These 2 are gender benders, the first is 2 shorts and one long story about Intersexuals, and the second is about 2 kids wanting to be the opposite gender.

wow, so much answers...
@base_coat: since I am kind of new here, I don't know how to change the title..or at least I can't find where. But you are right about the recs. Thanks a lot ^^, about Ludwig Revolution, I see your point, you are right, maybe I'll take it for a dark time to read...my problem with it is that I wanted to graduate form fairy tales long time ago, so I tend to avoid them.
@coco_has_to_gogo thx for your recs, I don't know the other but Gantz is not exactly what I am looking for, I know it is good, but that is too much for me right now, I mean, there is a point where the stories become very raw..I will take that rec for the moments I feel I want to read something like that, those kind of stories that make you feel like The Departed movie, or Orange Clockwork, you think, this is good but..in a bad way 😀 .
I haven't read Death Nothe after watching the anime...so I wonder if there is so much difference about that, since it would be kind of boring, knowing all the mysteries already.
Guys, I am gonna check your recs..I think that with 1 or 2 chapters you can get a bit of the feeling of the story, or at least the way it is written. Thanks a lot. Sorry for the long post

They're completely the same, except for the ending and the extra epilogue in the end (one year later).

Try: Until Death Do Us Part
Lots of action, hints of romance, not too much drama

Mine are short 🙂
A Funeral Procession of K (detective-ish)
Bradherley's Coach (cruel though)
Partner (shoujo, incomplete)
Soil (detective-ish, incomplete)
Push Man (a volume of smart oneshots)
I hope you don't mind oneshots. Try those from Mangascreener, Kotonoha, Blah maybe. (I can write this, right?)

Yeah, I tried that, maybe I am missing something because with that I can only change the post..not the thread title..btw, I read first chapter of Reset..really good, a bit dark but as far as I have seen that is some relevant characteristic from seinen? they have something in common in the mood. But the story actually reminds me that one from Amatsuki without the comedy bits.

This person is wrong. 😛 You can't edit your title.
Only mods/admins can.

Sorry, I think I did it before. Maybe I was wrong.
I guess it's just some relevant characteristic of certain mystery stories.

Ok, now I know you can't do that hehe.
