1. Something supernatural, maybe folklore-ish, and light. Like Hyakki Yakoushou and Natsume Yuujinchou.

2. Something with animals, animals turning into people or vice versa, nothing echi or smut please. Like Fruits Basket (although I didn't really like this one) or maybe humans that have animal-ish qualities, like the guy in Beast Master.

3. Manga about school club or group of weird characters doing stuff together. Like Sket Dance, Gintama, Genshiken, Aspirin, and Koko wa Greenwood

4. Yaoi with good plot and characters that aren't too feminine. No girly uke. Something similar to Dear Green: Hitomi no Ounowa or Cut, where the relationship can also be seen as a strong friendship (they just happen to screw each other~)
