I hate love triangles. Really and truly, I do. There are some that pull it off nicely, some that wrench my heart, and some that are hardly noticeable. But most the time, they are annoying. ANNOYING.

So I'm looking for stories where the main character chooses that guy. Stories where they have a crush on their childhood friend, but then fall in love with someone else. Stories where they are in love with someone for what feels like forever, but they meet someone new and end up (consciously or subconsciously) falling for them instead. I'll even take stories where they are in a relationship with someone and fall for someone else during, though I don't prefer those.

No yaoi, preferably shoujo, but I'll take shounen, seinen, josei, webcomic, and manhwa with boy or girl main character. Romance doesn't have to be main focus, but obviously has to be present.
