This is DEFINITELY my FAVORITE Genre....

Anyway, I will try to list my favorites that haven't been listed (Most of them have....)

Koukou Debut
Shinshi Doumei Cross (Mangaka of Full Moon Wo Sagashite)
Hot Gimmick (You have to love weird anime for that one...)
Zettai Kareshi (If you like Fushigi Yuugi, and Ayashi No Ceres, you will like this one. Yuu Watase definitely has a style of her own.....
Hana Kimi - Definitely didn't read it for the bland ending, but everything in-between!

Those are just a few I like. I am constantly reading them however. Most of my absolute favorites are already listed, so I won't bore you by repeating them!

I particularly love NANA, Skip Beat, Glass Mask, and Cat Street.
Hahaha .. Stuff like Mars is good too. 😃

The best of those I named would probably have to be Glass Mask. It really is a classic. ^^

for my "best" shoujo manga i have 2 and in my opinion they're pretty much my absolute favorites and that will never change, considering that if i read the manga over and over, or watch the anime over and over, i would never tire of them.

those 2 are,

Da! Da! Da!
Kamichama Karin

as for others that i really like, series such as

Perfect Girl Evoluion
Heaven's Prison
Fruits Basket
Kodocha
Shinshi Doumei Cross
Kamichama Karin Chu
Naisho no Tsubomi
Dakedo Happy Paradise
Tsuki no Shippo or Tail of the Moon
Beauty Pop is another but i kind of lost interest after the first volume, same with La Corda D'Oro >_>

and that's just to name a few of the ones i've managed to read or get peek at the first volume. Since i'm pretty much an avid shoujo fan, i tend to be a bit choosy, i like shoujo manga that's mixed with romance and comedy, and i really love ones that have cute kids who meet and fall in love...

cause there's nothing better than cute couples ^^

Adding a few more I can't put down:

Platinum Garden: There is something about this series that I just love!

Kaikan Phrase: I just finished the series (finally buckled down and bought that whole thing) Totally worth it!! Its a smut, but it tones down alot after the first few volumes and focuses on relationship stuff.

Karin: Ok, so it isn't EXACTLY a shoujo...but she has a crush!! Its an adorable story about a vampire that really isn't, she gives blood instead of recieves it. And boy does that affect her life...

Good Morning Call: If you are in the mood for a mellow - slice of life - then this will be good for you. Story isn't original, but sometimes those are my favorites!

Alice 19th: I do have to say, anything by Yuu Watase is gold. Seriously. She is my second favorite Mangaka.

H3: A cute story about a boys school that is suddenly adding girls. Definitely an "in your face" type character is somewhat refreshing.

Imadoki!!: Another Yuu Watase?!? Am I obsessed?? Definitely. About a poor girl, and a rich boy, and how they can't be. Cute, cute story you can't put down!

I think thats it for now. Check out my lists! I have the complete list of everything I have read, everything I am reading, and what I want to read. I'm totally obsessive like that.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Sometimes searching through the search thingy is totally cold and lonely

None that I know. As far as I'm concerned, shoujo means "girl orientated" so of course the main character is going to be a girl. 😃

Akuma de Sourou, cute and well drawn.

Cat Street, so far it seems to have some minor similarities with HYD as far as the love triangle goes, but it’s definitely more mature work.

Sunadokei, I’m very curious about how this one will evolve.

Parfait Tic is also nice but longish.

Well DNAngel might be considered shoujo by some... I wouldn't consider the anime (I haven't read the manga since it's not done, and it seems more recently on hiatus too) really shounen because it seems too "soft" and focused on relationships, especially in the last half. And the sort of "filler" episodes early on feel more shoujo to me.

But even when I read a summary from one of its volumes it was covering White Day and a matter of "if a couple does this, their tied together forever". That's too fluffy for a shounen. XD And someone else felt Duck Prince should be label shoujo, and that manga features a guy as the main character.
