No offense, but I've read Zippy Ziggy and Kare Kano before. I don't really think the male leads quite fit the yandere type I'm looking for. ^_^

I suppose the male protagonist would be considered yandere, I've read a bit of Watashi no Megane-kun several years ago and didn't realize that. Must remember to re-read it again...

Thanks, but I have read some of Jun'ai Tokkou Taichou already before. No offense, but I'm kinda looking for the type of story where the guy acts both sides of yandere to the other protagonist.

Let Dai Can't believe no one has suggested it yet. Dai flip flops between nice and caring and evil bastard towards his lover all the time.
Under Grand Hotel kinda...
Yatteraneeze! the opposite of Yandere, he goes from being mean to nice.

U don't Know Me Is starting to show signs of one of the characters being two faced... but there are only two chapters out right now.
Totally Captivated I'd say Mookyul is pretty Yandere, though that's more just his personality.

I've read all these before except for U Don't Know Me, Yatteraneeze! and Ichi the Killer. But I don't think that's quite what I'm looking for since I prefer if the victim (protagonist) of the yandere's feelings to not be/fall in love with them back. I think the closest was Totally Captivated, but I'll looking into the other series you recommended.
However, I'm still open for BL yandere suggestions. 😉

Watashi no Megane-kun definitely. A yandere sounds like a guy with a multiple personality disorder to me, haha.
Umm, Can't Lose You might be one. Now that I think of it, a lot of guys in Wann's works are kind of psychotic.
100% Perfect Girl, read it later on, and he loses his mind.
Honey Bitter - Sorta, I've only read 2 chapters, but the guy Rikiya seemed kind of like that.
The Flower of Evil - I should warn you that it's incest, both guy/girl seem psychotic.

Then maybe Shuffle but I only saw the anime, dunno for the manga.

Rosiel from Angel Sanctuary is the one definite male yandere I've observed (in a shounen-ai-ish way, toward the person who has been his follower since before he became yandere) and is also a very deep character.

Russia of Axis Powers Hetalia is the epitome of yandere. It's obviously not a romance series, but he does have casual love interests in some of the other countries. Of course, his most prevalent love interest is Belarus, who isn't yandere but is completely out of her mind.

I totally agree about Russia being yandere, but I always thought his biggest love interests were either Lithuania or China (both which he scares the crap out of 🤣 )

Under Grand Hotel comes very close to it. For shoujo these seem to be the closest you can get: Girl in Heels, Watashi no Megane-kun. I wouldn't classify Girl in heels as romance though. Or rather I hope it doesnt become like that.
