hmmm....favorite type would probably be about a character who disregards morals or laws or just common human decency, and kills anyone who interferes with there goals....like Death Note, Code Geass, Akumetsu, Shamo, Vagabond etc......
and other then that i like mangas about people who get what they desire or deserve through hard work like Hajime no Ippo, or Slam Dunk, Beck, Nana etc.....not just "i trained for one week and got super strong", i hate that bullshit
and i normally hate manga's about people who are nice guys, or wimps, also i hate the type of mangas about people who have these arch enemies who've done everything they could to make there lives a living hell....then when it actually turns time to kill them, they dont want to, or choose not to.....how gay is that?
also, i normally hate harems and gender benders.....

i realy dont hate the type i just hate when when there fighting in some
anime and one person wining hole fight then out of no were other person
pulls some bs and wins that right there pisses me off 😕 🤢
shit happens
Best plot = no real plot.
Like Yotsubato!
Bad plots
A teenager who can beat the shit out of anything that moves.
A sudden loss, emoemoemoemo, win, happy happy!
Crap romance of a worthless chick that would be
a geeky single librarian IRL and a guy who uses more
Maybelline than a whorehouse.
A loser with a harem that will kill him with mammaries.
In the end he will choose the common wrong chick.
A manipulative rich cousin of the Maybelline guy is the
perfect student in the Perfect High. There he abuses
a no good chick with his money. Then they will have
a relationship with chastity belts.
A secret organisation creates a deadly weapon of mass destruction
that turns out to be... an emotionally retarded teenager.
Might contain some crappy romance. Follows with a cancer.
A man carries the weight of his past on his back...
In the past he was a badass and he could break sand.
Then his grandma scolded him and he became a wussy
hobo that travels around and escapes the tax collector.

Hate: "No please don't parade around me wearing nothing!" type harems. Ecchi w/ no/weak plot. And above all "I love my rapist." shojo.
Like: I'll give anything a shot but I like darker more mature seinen (maybe shonen), like Gantz, Kurozuka, Sidooh, Alive!. Maybe w/ a little sci-fi/fantasy. If not, oh well.
I agree with both your likes and dislikes. But I don't hate harems just some of them. I hate when beautiful girls fall for some lame weak ass guy. I'm also a little against loving your rapist also but that depends on the guy though. 😀

Modern&Ancient Settings, Subtle Romance; Pretty much lots of action/supernatural sort of thing in either said settings with said dash of romance. Dark is optional. I'm pretty flexible.
I adore celebrity/starlet-plots with underlying angst/slight dark themes, I sometimes call it Chiro Star Project.
I like this one to 😛 Oh yeah and thanks I wanna read thant manwha now.

I agree with these two also. I like guys who could care less about anything accept their own goals
😛
I'd follow them to hell even if I think it's wrong.
And characters who don't kill the character that was trying to kill them for so long are annoying. this is why I mainly like the bad guys because they never hesitate. 🤣

I can't stand the classic Shinjo Mayu plots. You know, a girl is raped by a super hot guy but then falls in love with him. Are you effing kidding me? How retarded is that? This guy is making your life absolutely miserable and the second he leaves you, you realize you're in love with him and want him back?!
Best plots would have to be things that are actually realistic.
Lunch Lady: Would you like a cheese sandwich?
Me: No, I can't eat cheese; I'm lactose-intolerant.
Lunch Lady: Oh, then would you like some milk?
Me: .....no?

I love the typical Shoujo plot. You know, girl falls in love and gets married to that guy at the end (I'm a hopeless romantic) and funny (and crazy) manga plots. As for plots that I dislike, I don't really know.....
I read so much mangas, I'm too lazy to watch anime! 😛 😛 😛

Hates: Not much of an hate as it is an annoyance. The guy/gal always ends up with the original girl/boy they do anything with, no matter who shows up, be it long time friend, past lover, or anyone. Way to predictable.
Do you mean like there first kiss and first of other stuff. Yeah i get annoyed with this to.
Well if the first person he kisses (not including back story) he ends up with, then yea.

I really hate it when the main female can't protect herself and is always in tears over the smallest thing (Fushigi Yuugi)
I basically like the opposite of the previously mentioned with a lot of action, comedy and some romance. Prferably something supernatural. 😀

Well I don't hate all Harem. I like Ayu Mayu, Shina Dark, and some select few. It's just, as you said, I hate when there's some a-sexual loser that has girls hanging all over him. I almost had to drop Change 123 b/c the main is like that.
Also shojo's cool in my book (I'm a closet romantic), but I just hate when we get the usual love triangle w/ a perfectly normal guy falls in love w/ the heroine but she's completely hung up on the other guy; who probably took her viginity/first kiss or w/e (most likely by force) and he's an absolute a-hole.

preach brother......
and also speaking of Yotsubato.......i hate mangas without plots like that, unless they're not very long so i wont have to tolerate their repetitiveness, gintama's also a good example
and i like more mature slice of life's, and school life's alot too......like Nana Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Si-Do and Ciguatera etc......

I hate plots that overuse typical taboos, such as rape, mass murder and gore, and sonovab*tcheries such as the typical asshole guy who gets his buddies in on his girlfriend. Sure, they evoke the emotions they are supposed too, but it shouldn't be a repetitive theme as it often is. If you're going to show a taboo topic, at least give it a deep and meaningful purpose.
I love cliche good guy win plots, especially epic ones. Everyone is trying to be original, everyone is trying to create that masterpiece original ending that nobody has ever thought of. What happens in the end? Everyone ends up making the same type of ending, cliff hangars that obviously shout SEQUEL, tragic partings where a person has to return to their own world, time, realm (for some reason, although half of the time they don't even have a reason to return!). It's very rare for plots to go with the typical hero saves the day and they all live happily ever after.
eg....warning spoilers
darker than black (anime), come on just kiss the girl and freaking go out with her, why do you have to try and be badass?
trinity blood (anime), and the quest continues! surprise surprise.
fate stay night (anime) KEEP THE SERVANT! SHE IS HOT!
Escaflowne, and many more...
It's not that i hate plots with unhappy endings, in fact they leave quite the impression, but nothing feels better than sitting through 10+,20+,50+ episodes and knowing all the agonizing work actually worked out in the end. It leaves you with a good feeling, that it was worth it, and that it tied things up nicely.
P.S. I dislike endings that do the whole, could be alive, could be dead ending, e.g.
elfen lied anime IF THEY ARE ALIVE, JUST SHOW THEM so there aren't any internet wars on whether they lived or not
^=== I also hate endings that end really badly after the main charater went through alot.
WARNING SPOILER FOR:
Ayashi no Ceres
Ayashi no Ceres
Aya had assassins trying to kill her everywhere she went. She had some guy who want to use her as experiment. She had to also share her body with a crazy lady who wants to kill her brother. She lost her father in the beginning and then lost her mother a while after. When everything was settle she had already lost her brother and was also going to lose the love of her life in a short while after the manga has ended.
^===super bad ending
