Im looking for a romance where one person is wild or somekind of demon and the other person has the power to bring him back to normal (sort of tames him or calm him down from a killing rage!!) it doesn't have to be a master/servant relations ship. that actually makes me slightly uncomfortable. id prefer them to be equal in their relationship
almost any genre is alright even yaoi!!
the only thing i dislike is tragedy: specifically when the couple is split up by death and one character leaves the other to live alone! id don't want to be depressed!
i rarely read one shots so i the longer the better!
i read Beast Master and loved it! so perhaps something along those lines...

Other than that, I remember one manga were the guy can turn into this demon dog sort of creature and is sort of like this girl's weapon. The cool part is that the guy is given energy through kisses. Sadly, I can't remember the title 🙁
...I still forgot the title of the above, but I just realized that Fruit Baskets might, however I haven't read it yet

Fruits Basket does fit, in a rather large-picture way, but not in the "short term", like Beast Master.
And yes, Her Majesty's Dog is what you're thinking of.
