MC loves girl, asks her to marry him (she's a divorcee already), she says no she likes their life the way it is now. Shortly thereafter she comes home and says she's marrying a customer from the hostess club she works at because he's an old man that offered to leave her a huge inheritance when he dies. She tells MC that the old guy will probably be dead in two years, but even if he lives 10 more she'd still only be 32. MC tells her if she leaves then they're through. She leaves. 10 years later when the old guy dies, she flies MC to the funeral to try and reconcile. After a night of drunken sex he refuses to reconcile and just as he's leaving she mentions he has a 10-year old son she never bothered telling him about until just then.
All this is after she had already broken up his first marriage, to a girl he truly loved no less, with a fake pregnancy.
Rage until the point you almost want to go on a viking-like rampage burning down nearby towns and villages.

tsuki no shippo
i dunno why, but i felt kinda betrayed by the male lead.. he's soo selfish..
This world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel.

Mon Seul is a pretty good, short option, although I'm not sure I would call it betrayal per se. It is quite psychological, I might add.

oh sorry...i only skimmed through the OP
here's more :
Itaitashii Love is an amazing oneshot collection...most stories involve relationships ending(one or two of them had betrayal in them...i think), very realistic and executed in a mature way

@sarah-eats-cupcakes
Please don't apologize, I'd feel bad.
Have read Itaitashii Love and it seems too Jousei-ish for me.. and I was looking for betrayed protagonist, not a betraying protagonist lol.
I've read Loop sometime ago, thanks.

It's a novel, and I've only read up to chapter 53 (where the most stunning cliff hanger betrayal is) but Boku wa Isekai de Fuyo Mahou to Shoukan Mahou wo Tenbin ni Kakeru (Novel)
Also:
Pumpkin Scissors Betrayed by Government.
Suashi no Meteorite By Parents.
Witch Hunter By Sister.
Zetsuen no Tempest By Sister/Gf/Belief System.
UQ Holder! Sort of betrayed by Mentor/First Love.
Aaand... that's all I can think of. I don't really do many with hardcore betrayal/cheating, so the listed are pretty much as close as I get. Sorry if they don't fit. Good luck! 😀
Bacchanals, to arms!
