Hey,
I'm looking for a manga like "Beauty Pop" or "Girl Got Game"
Something where a girl is the main character, and kicks ass 😀
Also somewhat lighthearted, some romance, but not so much that it kinda takes over the storyline...
The girl should be skilled at fighting, or a sport, or just in an area of expertise [haircutting, modeling, dancing, fashion design, etc.]
The series can be ongoing or complete, but complete is preferred...xD

love stories where the girl has some type of speciality!
here are a few.
saver- err... is generally good at everything (mainly sword fighting though) 😀
School x Fight- fighting.
Mysterious girlfriend X- kinda.
skip beat- acting (most likely you've read this, though 😀 )
no or little romance in these ones, but if you want girls that have a speciality girl fight, which is about volleyball and Shion no Ou - a girl specialises in a game called Shougi, might qualify. Read or die and read or dream kinda fits to, if you don't mind having no romance.

Those two are the ones I think you might find interesting. There's also **Sailor Moon ** though at first Usagi isn't really skilled at her fighting, she does progress later on and the romance is light, but also gives you the teary-eyes every now and then. I honestly, really love the friendship in this manga, and the bravery. It's a great read-I've already given it 10/10!

Wow, no one said Aiki. Also you can read B.reaction. And also can't believe no one mentioned Tenjou Tenge and Air Gear.
Edit: Just read over your requirements and in none of those are the girls leading characters but they are always one of the important ones and all of them are still a good read. 😛

Eh? I'm surprised there's no kimi wa petto yet and saikano well.. not sure if that counts, but you must admit she's kinda strong expecialy in the end..
