go look for the countless other posts requesting for "hotblooded" heroines etc. Without looking to confirm, I'm sure theres a post asking for the same thing thats still relatively recent.

edit: In fact I even did you a favor and went back to find it, This is the post I was talking about.

admittedly I might be being a bit mean here, but I just get annoyed easily especially when it comes to people who ask for help without looking themselves and then give a vague idea of what they're looking for.

She has 7 posts, Darknova. Go easy on her.

I wasn't sure whether you were asking about strong women, or bitchy women, but there's a recent bitchy women thread too you might be interested in. (Don't go by the title, read the opening post.)

You might also try the "girl is cold" thread.

"hotblooded" isn't really being a "bitch".. i shouldn't have been vague, i agree, but i wasn't really looking for anything specific(at the time of post) except for the fact that the lead is a bitch. Also I've already read all the other recent posts.. some of the suggestions intrigued me but not really what i was looking for.

So to be less vague, I'm not looking for a fighter or a gangster, I've already had my fill with that. What I'm looking for is a schemer, i guess you could say. Someone who knows what she wants and will do what she can to get it. Not someone insecure I'm tired of that bull. Also someone who doesn't go completely gaga over the guy she likes. Anyways i guess someone who has the personality of the usual antagonist of a shoujo but instead the protagonist.

revilenigma thanks Dorohedoro sounds good.

If you can tell just an example it'll be pretty useful, anyway I hope I'm not wrong suggesting those:

Dance in the vampire bund probably the best example I can give, if you don't mind her loli looking appearance.
Vampire Game probably less, but I like her a lot
Mirai Nikki maybe?

Peach Girl is probably the most scheming girl I can think of.

This isn't a manga, but I figured you might be interested in Umineko ni naku Koro ni. This was originally a visual novel, and all four games have been fully translated into English. Right now, there's an anime out already, so catch it if you missed it.

Basically, it answers all the requirements of the heroine you're looking for. The main heroine, the witch Beatrice, is probably one of the best antagonistic heroines out there, but that's not to say she's completely evil. She does have issues but what I love about her portrayal is that it doesn't attempt to sugarcoat Beatrice : she is ruthless and scheming, but at the same time, she can be playful and understanding as well.

You'd probably love the storyline, as she and the main hero

Just challenged each other to eternal torture.

Haven't really read these, but I heard the protagonists in Chiro Star Project and Peach Girl: Sae's Story are quite snobby.

edit.

Also, maybe Mana and probably Devil and Her Love Song, Warau Kanoko-sama and Watashi ni xx Shinasai!?

but wouldn't the scheming girl be the antagonist not the heroine?

I haven't actually read (or watched) Peach Girl, so I can't say for certain. I've just heard things about her.
