[4] dates Simple, I write them down in calendar. But those "one/two month anniversary" stuff is so BS. Anniversary is one full year.
🤣 I know! I hate it when they say "happy monthsary"! That's retarded (I don't mean to offend anyone), but geez, is that because younger kids know that their relationship won't last more than a few months?
I don't remember dates other than birthdays either... in my past relationships, the guys are usually better at remembering them. I think I have the stereotypical guy's mind.

(I only read the first 5 pages and then read the amaranthine's post before me, but I'm not reading all 47 pages in one sitting just to reply!)
And one full year? Have people actually been in relationships still said this? (Not that I'm in or have been in a relationship but...) Besides, won't couples already be out of the honeymoon stage and taking each other for granted by the time a year rolls around? I say the guy gets in trouble because he didn't realize that one year had passed and the exact date (he might have even thought, "I didn't think we would make it a year..." and even "I can't believe I'm still with her after a year 😢 ...because I still haven't broken up with her") that the couple had their first date. He probably doesn't even remember her birthday... 😲 🤣 🙁 😳 Where could one record maybe a special date without being sentimental and a packrat or recording it in a diary?
But I think it would require a person who is probably very optimistic believing that every person he or she has his or her first date with is his or her soulmate, or just records a first date with anyone.

This shows the fact that I did only read the first page before posting 🤣 😁 🤣

- At my school, girls wear anything they want. Everyday, I'm forced to see other girls' boobs, ass cracks, underwear, etc. Personally, I don't want to see any of that.
You got a camera phone and mind doing me a favor? 😀

Oh <3 the way you put it makes sense. They say that once a couple reaches three months, it becomes a relationship =S

yeah. but the same goes that it shouldn't all be "(best) friend like as well". it should have maybe a 60-40 or 50-50 division(couple-friend respectively). but from what Altairea's saying, its more of a 20-80
laugh
Yeah... 🙁
I think our relationship was more of a "best friend~ish" type than a romantic one.
If your partner's idea of a 'date' going to anime/coplay/comic conventions, then you might want to review your type of relationship with him...
I admit,I was also stupid because [being the otaku that I am] I enjoyed attending these kinds of events so he might have thought that I like going to those affairs rather than somewhere being alone with him.

I don't see where the problem comes in.
I don't even remember my own mother's birthday. :S
Now that I think about about it, I was also in the wrong for throwing a bad tantrum at that time because he didn't show up at my party and even forgot to tell me where the heck he is until the day after that...
This wasn't the first time he forgot some important events like this throughout our relationship so all the frustrations might have just exploded from me when he didn't show up my birthday. I tolerated his absences and maybe the only thing holding us together for 5 and a half months back then was our love for the same things so I decided to end it.

Please don't criticize other people's opinion. 😢
It is their choice and opinion so everyone should respect that...

I've done it...because I haven't lasted that long before. 🤣 Once I hit a year though, I think I'm through with it.

Or it just happens to fall on Friday the 13th in October. 🤣

Why do you think you're in the wrong?? I'd be incredibly pissed!

damn, i've realised at this stage, i don't even actually want a girlfriend!
i want girls who are just friends right now. being around guys all the time i need a change of breeze (all guys school) and the main reason i don't have these is because of this:
my friends don't go out much or know many girls
therefore my friends don't invite me out much
therefore the only way for me to find girls is by myself 😔

Well...I ruined my party because he wasn't there and I was making a really big deal out of it without knowing if he had a sudden emergency or something.
I was angered even further when he told me that was was making some props for the past few days and wasn't aware of the date....
Well, you know what happened next.

Yeah, but I still don't think you're in the wrong. It's your birthday (party, even!)--you have a right to be self-centered, without having to worry if an emergency was happening or something.

I think the westerner that is obsessed with Japanese culture is called "Weaboo" (sp?)
Life is tough......but it's tougher if you're stupid.
