No, I know a few Abercrombie wearers that are walking hard-on (can I say that here?) frat-boys, and others are completely homosexual (not in a derogatory way, just in a gay guys that love other gay guys way).
Whether or not my statement was actually true doesn't matter.
Just back me up, yo.

You can shop at GAP or Target because the clothes are the same quality and style. I would just avoid the stigma attached to Abercrombie if I were you.
To get back on track - Otaku girls will think you are a homosexual buddy to hang with if you wear abercrombie and you will never be able to date any woman if you wear it.
Life is tough......but it's tougher if you're stupid.

Elf princess for a con? lol. My boyfriend wants me to cosplay as Mitsuru from Persona 3...
AWESOME!
Do it! Take pics for the boards too.
I'm actually all for it, but I can't sew, and all the costumes on eBay look like shit. I found a good quality one here at cospa but I'm not about to spend $200 on a blouse. I guess I could try to find the skirt, at the very least, at a store (I'm not paying about $120 for it!). Not sure what I'd do about a blouse (not to mention finding a good bow that doesn't look dumb).
Hmmm...guess I should join everyone and go post my picture anyway though. =x
But in hopes of staying on topic, I must say that I'm very lucky to have met my boyfriend. Neither of us actually call ourselves "otaku" (especially considering my major is Japanese), but we both like most of the same anime and video games and the like. He's very, very intelligent and I love our in depth conversations about everything and anything (that's how we really started falling for each other...sitting on the ground at EBGames when there were no customers talking about stuff). I love how well we can fit each other's moods though.
Me: "Uhh...so...what do you feel like doing? ansty since I wanna play FFXI"
Him: "Well...to tell the truth...all I wanna do is play Pers--"
Me: "THAT'S GREAT CUZ ALL I WANNA DO IS PLAY FINAL FANTASY!!"
Him: "....I love you. 😀 "
Though I must say: Number 7 on that list is true. 😛

Clothes. I buy what ever can last the longest. Shopping isn't my thing. >_>
I buy books/manga with my money more than I buy clothes. x)
After arriving from school, I realise that there's not an otaku (or a possible otaku) in sight. 😔

Dating an otaku guy would be interesting, but challenging. I like gardening, cooking, dressing well, good parties and that sort of thing, but most otaku guys are a little too much Hot Topic anime dork and not enough Abercrombie. To put it bluntly. ^^;;
What I had written was slightly similar to this, though not exactly the same. While shopping at Abercrombie isn't required (though I would prefer it if he did dress nicely), I do agree with your Hot Topic statement. It certainly seems as though many, many guys who are obsessed with anime shop exclusively at Hot Topic.

Guys have been always scared of me. People suggest that I have too much 'charisma' that makes me intimidating. There is an anime club, but I haven't heard an announcement about it..
It'd be nice to talk about manga with people in school.

Well thats why there are forums and I also don't mind talking to people online as long as there cool =). Also if you do join an anime club get ready for people to start thinking your a nerd/dork because I had to put up with that crap when I was a member... and I also think that was the main reason why the club stopped... people just didn't understand much about it at the time.
Welps time to visit my girlfriends from Claymore XD be back in 25 mins.

My boyfriend actually prefers that I waste my money on cloths instead of anime/manga...and plus, I like looking pretty and stylish for him. 🤣

They need to set up a dating website just for "otaku".. of course, the fact that it'd be 95% male may cause a slight problem 😀

Pfft. Like that'd be a difference from being called an 'emo' (God, I hate that word.)
If they want a piece of me... >: ) I don't mind using my fist.

I don't think it would be that skewed, honestly.
Good luck, Karol.
