Just be honest and the worst that could happen is him saying no... if he wants to be a jerk after that then you know what kind of guy he is. There are actually a few definitions of the word Otaku. It's mostly based on where you live. I think we need to stop being so pushy with kitty.. all guys are different, and this one being "otaku"ish sorta increases that even moreso (has he had a gf before? Does he even want one?).. point is, that she probably knows him better than any of us do, just from what we've heard second hand.

Now I do agree that if she doesn't do anything, in the future it's quite possible she'll regret it, if she hasn't moved on by then.. but she is the one having to take the risks. Not us 🙂

hmmm...if my room were as little as this then it would be my room coz i think i have almost all of the stuff in this pics the differnce only my room is 5 or 6 times bigger

Well I just got back from starbucks and i saw a girl reading a manga "school rumble" I think. Anyways I walked up to her and asked her if she had any idea what an otaku was...after getting a few laughs about some other topics i went on to explain to her what it was and she ended up saying, "if thats what an otaku is then that means I am one" she just didn't know the understanding of the word. Anyways i told her about the forums and how I asked how come otaku girls don't ever try to find otaku guys she said to me "its because im shy and normally when I think of anime/manga lovers (guys) the image of a nerd comes to mind". Anyways after talking to her for a few mins I got her number and MSN name.
