Pfft. Like that'd be a difference from being called an 'emo' (God, I hate that word.)
If they want a piece of me... >: ) I don't mind using my fist.
Damn girl you rock hahahaha =)

I like the "emo" style on girls. It's usually a cross between punk+goth+pop= hawt girly outfit. Only problem is the "emo" guys usually wearing the same outfit.

A few weeks later I asked her out to see a movie with me and we watched Howels Moving castle at the theater.
.<!! What a cute first date! I'm so jealous. Wait. Well my first date was watching Spiderman 2, which turned out to be quite a chickflick. Aww~~ And we painted a ceramic penguin together~~ sigh Innocent love~~~ lol I'm divulging again.

Also if you do join an anime club get ready for people to start thinking your a nerd/dork because I had to put up with that crap when I was a member...
Aw I totally know what you mean. It's all very guilty, but when I first meet a person, I try to avoid the topic of anime/manga until I know for sure they're okay with it. It's just that the "otaku" stereotype is so strong and demeaning that I'm, guiltily, scared to be associated with it.

They need to set up a dating website just for "otaku".. of course, the fact that it'd be 95% male may cause a slight problem biggrin
I think there was a new one... I forgot what it was. I'll post it here when I remember.
As for who I'm attracted to as a female, I find myself attracted to like... @.@ weird nerdy ish guys? Doesn't necessarily mean otaku, but... ahh. It's just so cute. Like my Astronomy professor, who smiles in that childish dorky way, so proud of himself, when he's derived Kepler's laws. That's so cute, haha. (or maybe I'm weird and have a weird fetish? Oh no...) Oh no... I'm divulging again.

🤣 I asked someone to watch this with me too! He doesn't know a thing about anime, but he liked it.
Show them Ghibli stuff first to slowly convert them to Otakuism.

Weird? No. It's natural. Keep thinking like that.

At my school the otakus are mostly female. o_o The few guy ones end up looking like they have a harem half the time.
There used to be an anime club at my school. Then someone put up hentai or something and it got banned. =_=

My first date with my boyfriend was to see the Grudge 2. 😀 Though EBGames ruined the movie by showing us all the scary scenes in the trailer...

On subsequent dates we had watched both Juon Movies in the indy movie theater and when we went to see the english version of Grudge 2 we laughed through the whole thing because they made it very stupid for americans.

I've had a crush on a boy /for about 3 years now.../ who's slightly otakuish. He likes the occasional manga or video game. So I guess he's more of an 'anime fan' than an 'otaku', but meh. Still too afraid to tell him how I feel since he's my best friend...
Just tell him. There are good odds he's going to say yes. Trust me on this.
Yeah, odds are, he feels the same way. A boy could not be a friend of a girl for 3 yrs and not like her. If he is an Otaku type, he's probably having the same inner turmoil as you and also afraid t say anything.
You should confess and then tell us what happened 😀
Oh, but you don't know him. ALL of his friends are girls. I'm just lucky enough to be his best friend because we share alot of common interests. ^^ I know he's not gay though because he can't stand males enough to possibly like them.
Anyways, I've been contemplating lately about telling him, but I'm still in self conflict. It's not that I'm afraid of whether or not he'll say yes, but rather how it'll affect our friendship if he doesn't say yes. I'm honestly just happy as long as he's happy, whether it's happy with me or happy with another. Genuinely, I do feel pangs of jealously. Alot. But I put up with them and supress them. Occasionally I need to preoccupy myself, but usually it's maintainable.

Next time you see him, tell him there is something you need to show him in th ebasement, then when he goes down there, push him down the staris and lock him in. Then you will have him all to yourself and you can keep the other girls away.
Or just ask him if you want to date, and then if he says yes you win XD, and if he says no, say "Just Kidding!" And point and laugh at him because he thought you were serious.T.T
After that, you can slip the roofies in his Ovaltine and have your way with him

Um... you liked the American ver? I like the Japanese one very much, but the American one was too cheesey and just not done very well IMO.

After that, you can slip the roofies in his Ovaltine and have your way with him I would never do anything like any of those. And he would definitely know something's up with the second one, because doing something like that is completely against my nature. I'm not the type to joke around much, he does all the joking around XD ^^
Plus I don't know of any basements that lock. Our school doesn't have a basement o.o;;
