Do you hate Shounen?

Shounen is actually one of my favorite genres. The only time I won't at least read the first chapter in a shounen series, is if the series has no emotion. If it's all about comedy and the main character getting abused by his supporting characters; that's when I don't like it. The series needs to be fun yet heartwarming at times.

Everything that is formulated is so because of Dragon Ball. If something sets a precedent, it is not part of the ensuing conformity.

Yeah I think I said this in previous post but because of dragon ball they it made shounen what it is today.

I just simply love shounen... I don't think I could ever hate it.
Not all shounen plots are the same, and they can get the reader's attention because it makes you think... but yeah, I don't like it when a manga gets repetitve and long without making the plot develop nicely...but like I said, not all shounen manga are like that because there are some that have captivated me to the point of making me a loyal reader.

i used to try and watch those because i never new what the hell shounen ai was....infact i thought it stood for Artificial intelligence and assumed it was about robots or cyborgs.....and after attempting about 4 of them i came to realization that it was no coincidence that they the main character's were all homos
LOL, that's rich.
Shonen's better than shojo at least @_@ (imho obviously). My fav demographic is shonen afterall though x)

oh yeah, sport shounen is the best <33 I like the supriseness and stuff, and how they always think while playing =D Honestly, who think about flashbacks and stuff while kicking soccer? x333 da best <3

So far, shounen for me is alright.
I can get through life with it.
Though it doesn't interest me as much as shoujo.
But there are some that managed to rip my attention off of all the others.
