GTO is always good for a laugh, love Hina is fun if you can cope with the harem. Girl Saurus is also fun but it is a harem, although it is hilarious. These three always make me laugh or at least smile when i read them.

Oh ho. I think you're looking for Hotman. Hurm, and perhaps even Angel Densetsu.

You're gonna have to buy the manga if you want to read Haunted House. It's licensed by Tokyopop and available in online stores. Highly recommended..my cousin's not into mangas but she finds Haunted House very laughable!

Yakitate! Japan is hilarious 😀 And Samurai Champloo. Though most people who watched the anime says the manga sucks (I've never watched Samurai Champloo so I can't say how the manga compares). Oh, and Gakuen Tokukei Duklyon by Clamp, it's very old though.
Btw, you really don't read shoujo at all? Because there are some really hilarious shoujo mangas (Power!!, for example 😀 ).

Don't know if these are exactly what you're looking for, but they're all completed manga that I've read and liked, which left me feeling good after most chapters.

If you were willing to try shoujo, I would also recommend stuff like Kare Kano, or Tokyo Crazy Paradise.

IS a genderbender thats got a uplifting quality to it kinda the same feel as Hotman. Its about the hardships of 'intersexed' people. Its 3 stories, the two first ones are short but the longer one spans the life of a character from birth to highschool.

Family Compo Very funny, its got a touching part to it, especially in the beginning.

I'll think of more, the only two that came to mind that weren't listed were genderbenders =/
