hello im looking for completed/fully translated romance manga/manwha.
the female main character should be ugly, those not popular with boys. Unpopular in the sense of appearance mainly. Well the idea is to reduce the amount of annoying male characters. So it would be a bonus if no male romance rivals appeared. Gays are males but they count as female romance rivals.
i tried the "unpopular protagonist" tag but i didnt get much result.
examples that i enjoyed reading
love com
Kimi ni todoke - she really is drawn pretty at most times though
Ashita no Ousama

are you fine with regular female leads (not ugly) as long as there is only one interest on each side?
Do you just want a romance without annoying males?

regular female leads, with no annoying male characters? sure KnT anime comes a little close but not really
for Shoujo/Josei:
each of those romance titles have introduced a random guy who shows a love interest on the female lead. i get sick of that development but its inevitable
whats not annoying male for me, i can only list a few:
kind/normal male relatives
gays
those really funny ones - sidekick/minion for purely comedic reasons.
never a saw a completed/fully translated romance shoujo/josei manga/manwha w/o annoying male chars. i just try to not mind it, having an ugly female lead helps.
for shounen/seinen:
annoying males still often appear for romance plot. its rare to see one without them and most probably ive already read them.

oh btw, i checked that thread, some of the recommendations have fat female characters. well i wasnt really expecting that cuz ive never seen a fat female lead. so i guess, just a plain female character like the one on ashita no ousama would be just fine
EDIT: ima try beauty pop for now

so basicly you just want a regular 1on1 romance without outer male interfereces, that makes things easier 🙂
btw: try not to double-post
I'll give you a few of those, but not too many...
for shounen/seinen:
Double Arts
Melo Holic*
Hoshi no Samidare
Ai-Ren
Densha Otoko
shoujo/josei:
Dear Tear
Sarashi Asobi
Yamamoto Zenjirou to Moushimasu
Eensy-Weensy Monster
Nineteen, Twenty-One*
- can be considered as to be from that demograhic, even though webcomics basicly don't have any...
you should try short shoujos (one-shots, 1-2 volumes) as they often only contain one main couple without any other males (except for friends and such)

It's not exactly fitting, but you'd probably like Gokusen. The romance is very light, though.

This I second 🙂
You could probably give a try to most of the stuff Lorska mentioned.
Last but not least Dengeki Daisy
