A manga artist who was active in the early 1980s and gained moderate popularity, he died due to overwork in his apartment in Shinjuku, Tokyo on August 9 1984, and his professional career was less than two and a half years.

He joined Ishimori Productions in 1981. He made friends with fellow sci-fi enthusiasts like IZUBUCHI Yutaka, YUUKI Masami, MIKIMOTO Haruhiko and KAWAMORI Shoji. He also involved in an anime by Sunrise according to TOMINO Yoshiyuki.

He was working for Manga Burikko, OTSUKA Eiji was the editor-in-chief at the time of his death.

MASUDA Haruhiko and TANAKA Masato are former assistants of his.
