Famous gag mangaka who's a master at drawing cutest little girls and ugliest old people.

In 1989, won the 1st GAG King of Weekly Shonen Jump.

Inspired to become mangaka after reading Manga Michi, an autobiography of FUJIKO F. Fujio and FUJIKO Fujio A. A fan of MIYAZAKI Hayao, Tonari no Totoro and Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä are his favorites. Once asked HARA Tetsuo’s autograph at Jump’s new year party.

ODA Eiichiro once assisted him on Manyuuki.

Also a fan of synth-pop duo Denki Groove, he collaborated with Pierre Taki on Jukai Shounen Zoo 1 and Gyakusatsu!!! Heartful Company.
