Endings Poll
I did a poll of my own for once in honor of the ending of certain series that I loved...Question is simple enough:
How do you generally like the endings of series?
You can discuss the poll on the forum here: http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=5480
Previous Poll Results:
Question: How well do you draw? (Manga or just pictures in general)
Choices:
I can draw as well as the leading mangakas - votes: 303 (3.3%)
I occasionally do doujinshi (and/or sell my own works) - votes: 151 (1.7%)
I am a moderately good drawer that can do my own work - votes: 2255 (24.7%)
I need a picture in front of me to copy - votes: 2016 (22.1%)
I need to trace a picture - votes: 607 (6.7%)
I CAN DRAW STICK FIGURES!!! - votes: 2900 (31.8%)
What's a pencil? - votes: 885 (9.7%)
There were 9117 total votes.
The poll ended: May 3rd 2008
One of our more popular polls, I would say. A lot of people seem to think they're all that with their mad drawing skills...but who can say if they're lying or not? I bet most people just had fun with the stick figure option, haha

I was definitely telling the truth with the stick figure option. Maybe people without mad drawing skills just don't talk very often.

I actually wasn't joking with the stick figures. ^^ my best masterpiece is the 15 minute stick figure synopsis of west side story described to my friend in calc class

Some people can draw extraordinarily well. Just not in mass quantity like a chapter of manga. I can draw things in front of me, but I do it very well if I'm motivated to do so. I won't be able to do something out of my head too well though since I don't have the practice.

.. last time I checked.
I can copy pictures in front of me fairly well (messing up the proportions, most of the time), but I can draw things out of the top of my head. Unfortunately, I get periods of time when I WANT to draw and others where I just draw random smiley faces everywhere and heartless drawings. So really, I can draw moderately well if I put my heart to it, but otherwise I couldn't care less.
Yay for the obsessed periods of time.

there're too many different series & different genres out there, so this week's poll question is too vague

I won't say that I have "mad drawing skills"- because I don't.
But when I copy pictures that I see on the net, I can honestly say it comes out very accurate, and almost similar to the original.
I can just see how the form is located on the picture, and put it on the paper. I don't use any of the traditional "rules" for drawing, even though I do know them (studied art for 1 year when I was about 8).
I can't draw from imagination without a model.. So I won't become a mangaka anytime soon^^ lol
