New Poll - Camping Out
This week's poll was suggested by kitty1826x. It's not exactly manga-related, but I like it anyways. If you got a story about camping out (like for Black Friday), comment below!

You can submit poll ideas here (and try to keep them manga/anime-related)
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=3903

Previous Poll Results:
Question: You're reading a series and suddenly you hit a gap of chapters where no one scanlated them, but someone scanlated the later chapters. You...
Choices:
Stop reading and wait for missing chapters to get released - votes: 4653 (52.8%)
Skip the missing chapters and just continue reading - votes: 953 (10.8%)
Find the raws and try and try to figure out what's going on - votes: 1700 (19.3%)
Look around for or text translations - votes: 987 (11.2%)
Ask someone for a summary of the missing section - votes: 236 (2.7%)
I can read the series' native language, so there's no gap for me - votes: 291 (3.3%)
There were 8820 total votes.
The poll ended: June 5th 2015

So scanlators, don't skip chapters. That's evil, and don't be evil.

I waited for the Wii for a few hours when it first came out ... It might have been a week after it was available to buy, but there was still a limited stock.
I don't remember how long I was waiting. I know it was at least a few hours. O.o I don't think it was overnight .... but thinking back it may have.

Yeah...I've...while ago, sometimes...but, don't know, if I will do it atm for anything.
I might consider, if I find something worth the effort.

But, as it is the age of Home Delivery & Online Shopping, I might never need to do it again.

EDIT: Though I mentioned campaign up there, it was for a different reason. Quite not the same thing as the poll states. Plus, it was something " Must Do ". Otherwise, I wouldn't have bothered. I'm quite Lazy.
Thus, I can count the limited edition things I owe with just one hand.
Waiting to buy iPhone is a retarded thing to do.

Never, and let's keep it that way in the way the poll wants from me but i "camped out" a lot during my military days and got to sleep on cement in a bunker or on the forest soil.
I awoke rested on both cases! Pro tip: Don´t sleep in your car as it get cold at night and i won´t try that one ever again.
I never stood in a long line or worse for entertainment purposes as my friend Minato pointed out and never will as online delivery is a thing.

Camping out? No way... I don't even pre-order things and usually buy stuff months after it is out... I can even wait for discounts oftentimes...

Pft, I read it as "coming out" at first.

No, I've never camped out to buy stuff earlier than others.
It's ridiculous.
I hear people camp out for days before a new iphone comes out.
Those people are crazy. There is no middle ground to this. They simply are.

I've never been that desperate to buy anything, and I think I will continue to keep it like that! It's easier to buy things online, anyway- you don't need to camp outside and line up or whatever. no

I'm a very patient person except when I have to wait in a line. 'Nuff said.

As a child I lived on the outskirts, and a new french bakery opened nearby which would also open on sundays (which wasn't common, as we had pretty strict regulations for shop opening hours in Germany, and still have in comparison to other countries), so everyone was very excited.
Well, my parents more than me, as they made me wake up early and wait with the other townspeople to get some fresh baguette for breakfast. The bakery was pretty small, so 1-2 hours were nothing unusual.
So yeah, I lined up to get food in an industrialized country in the 21th century.
