It's soooooooo sweet. I really wish kiriyama and kabutani's story was longer, or at least there was a sequel! I really want to see how their relationship will go deeper.

SEQUEL PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

I love this manga!!! I have read it a dozen times already and I just don´t get tired of it. I think the way the story develops is sweet and it is a typical romance story. The uke plays hard to get and the characters discover true love within the story. Pink novel with a twist!!!

Cute smut with plot!

Not the best I've ever read, but it's a good quick read if you want a lot of smut with just enough of a plot to string it together. Unfortunately, the characters don't seem to have much of this so called "personality" I heard so much about, so it's kind of hard to care too much about them...

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I love what I got! All those frustrating tendencies that yaoi seems to have these days (uke molested yet suddenly falls in love and so on) didn't happen here. If it weren't for the supernatural element, the first story would be one of the most probable situations I have read. Kiriyama deserves some sort of uke award.

kinda cute

but very simplistic. what brings this slightly above average for me is that in the first story 1) the uke doesn't just succumb tearfully, but he stands his ground even when bullied, and 2) the art is expressive when it comes to showing all the emotions the seme experiences. it's different to see a seme be as emotional. also, the infirmary doctor (who knows what the seme is) who serves as comic relief actually is amusing.

the only supernatural element here is the succubus nature of the seme, but nothing is done with it other than drive him to want to suck body fluids from the uke; it's just ordinary school life.

the second story is completely forgettable.

If you like seeing a rake get tamed...

Ryusei is...what...a succubus? Though he calls himself a "man-eater," what he is, essentially, is a succubus-like creature. He needs to consume bodily fluid from humans in order keep up his energy. So, if that's not like a succubus, then I don't know what a succubus is. The whole thing is kinda weird since it's the only supernatural element throughout the story...everything else is just normal, school-life stuff.

Anyway, because he needs to feed, Ryusei dates lots of girls...hence earning him the title of "player." The other boys kinda shun him because of this, but he is befriended by a classmate named Kiriyama (very sweet boy, out-going, friendly, popular with other students). Ryusei begins to develop this insatiable hunger for Kiriyama, which bothers and piss him off to no end, but he can't seem to control it no matter what he does. It's obvious to the readers he's in love, but he will fight it tooth and nails before admitting such a thing.

Anyway, read more if you wanna know what happens. I will tell you, though, that you won't be annoyed with the uke in this manga. He's no pushover. I love that he has strong values AND the guts to stick by them, despite pressure from the seme.

The story itself is very satisfying and well-written. I love the palpable sexual tension throughout the manga. The lusty vibes generated by the seme towards his uke is very cute. Heh, call me a sadist, but it's kinda fun to watch him suffer.

Anyway, that's all I have to say. Go read the rest for yourself

I expected a bit more, but it was cute.

I was probably expecting more from this than I should have, so that's why I felt slightly disappointed. But only slightly. ^^ I really liked the way Kiriyama had 'values,' and instead of just going along with it or forgiving Kabutani immediately after he, well, made a move on him (and being the playboy he is, Kiriyama thought it meant nothing), he told Kabutani that he didn't want to do that when he knew there was no love. He stuck up for himself and said no. And I also liked how instead of sleeping or dating other girls to try and convince himself he didn't want only Kiriyama, Kabutani refused to 'eat' anyone else.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
The reason this sort of lost it's charm was because Kabutani started acting like a jerk when Kiriyama was in the infirmary with him. Yes, he stopped his sexual assault when Kiriyama cried and told him he didn't want to be treated like all of the girls he had, but then Kabutani decided it would be good enough to just dump all of them. Because if he did that, then everything would be okay and he could 'eat' Kiriyama. And unfortunately, Kiriyama was satisfied with this without a love confession, despite afterward feeling upset about that. Later on, Kabutani even goes out with another girl and tells Kiriyama that he has to feed him until he finds a suitable replacement. How nice. But eventually he admits to himself that he must have Kiriyama, and killing him wouldn't be a successful solution. Yes, killing. He thought about eating him completely. But don't worry, he decided his life would be meaningless without Kiriyama and he would only kill him if he tried to leave him. Sweet, right?

Overall, I quite liked Kiriyama and his ability to say no and stop Kabutani when he really didn't want it, and I definitely liked the art. The expressions (especially the cranky and pouting faces of Kabutani) were very cute and well done. The only (again, slight) problem I have is Kabutani's rather cold and demanding personality in the middle. If only he had voiced more of his thoughts to Kiriyama, he wouldn't come off as such a jerk. A plus: the funny infirmary sensei. He was cute and always so cunning looking. ^^
