Description
The demon queen subdued enormous and powerful monsters and slaughtered over half of the world's population. Surviving members of the human race elected a hero to slay the demon queen, beseeching release from her oppressive rule. However, he questions his mission to eradicate the monsters: in his opinion, they too are conscious and alive, and so he anguishes over that fact. Sheila the Demon Queen became interested in him and joined his journey, hiding her identity and with the plan to kill him after she has gained his trust. Eventually, she realizes that she fell in love with the hero, and hence their journey begins...

| omg ik!!! after reading all of superior i was like 'ok. wtf. the endings crap. wuts gonna happen 2 sheila and exa and wut about the fake sheila?' so i got all sad and pissed 2. but after like 10 min i searched 4 a sequel. and vuala! there was 1 called superior cross but i cnt find it anywhere 2 read. *cry >_< |

Ok, so I finished Superior and was all like, O__O, where the hells the ending, this isn't the end, nothing significant has happened yet.
Spoiler (highlight to view) What about the love between Sheila and Exa? What of the blood "antidote" that is supposedly going to kill Sheila. What about the clone Demon Lord (who apparently still doesn't have a name yet, BTW I love clone number two, both in furry ball form and after being changed to look like Sheila). Is Exa going to kill Sheila? Is Sheila going to kill Exa? Are The two going to die together? Are they going to live happily ever after? What gives?
So I get pissed off and go mope around for about three days before going back and realizing that their is a sequel (how overjoyed I was). So I quickly download the scans for the first volume of Superior Cross and find out that the entire things is little more than a recap of what happened in Superior along with a little character development and background information on the characters (and a little past problems resolved for some of the characters). I was so looking forward to jumping straight back into the story, it was just getting good.
Though the first volume was a complete let down the second volume makes up for it in spades. It gets back into the style that was present throughout the first nine volumes of superior and also is a good continuation of the series, developing Sheila feelings towards Exa and furthering the story, on both sides. Can't wait for the next volume and hope you all enjoy as well.
