This manga is awesome! the main girl is so kick-ass. Love her personality. She's definetely not one of those annoying heroine that always needs to be protected and all. she stands up for herself. and as for her love life, she needs to give up on that jerk Nii and get together with the ikayaki guy. itz obvious those two will end up together. xD Hopefully, since it will end in another volume. >.< wished this was a longer series.
Really like it

especially with the new chapters that were scanlated. At first I wasn't into the 'gal' look but the author really really made it work.
Also I am in love the main character. One of my favourite females to date. Her character is just what you expect from Hijiri Chiaki-Sensei!
Give it a chance and read though the first 6 chapters to really get a feel for it. And in chapter 7 a new character comes in yayyyy
I only wish it was longer because the heroine and humour and story telling are seriously top notch. I feel like this could have been my favourite comedy-mystery series if it were a couple volumes longer. Seriously wish there were more stories like this. Long live josei

I don't think this is bad actually. I quite enjoyed it. The main character isn't too bad when she's not chasing after her 'fiance'. She doesn't go overboard like a lot of the shojo manga girls. While she may carry out a bit of stalking she does realise that the guy might not end up with her in the end. I think she dresses as a kogal girl b/c of the way society in general judges her. It's a way to break free of restraints and challenge preconceptions. She's really observant too and I'm liking the way the story is developing.
Not so good...

The art is odd. I think the artist is experimenting, but I preferred her old style. This new style looks like she traced things, and she draws people's mouths a bit big here.
I didn't like the main character at all.
Its not really mystery, so skip this. Her older stuff was way better in art and story.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
She dresses like a kogal girl for no reason, but when she has to meet the guy she likes, she dies her hair back to the original color and dresses like a normal girl.
I don't even know why she likes the dude so much that she tries to change herself for him either, and the guy is a bit of a prick. Its not really mystery, so skip this. Her older stuff was way better in art and story.
