I'm noticing a lot of her works are a group of short stories where only one or two of the stories are actually worth reading. For this one, I only liked the main story about the narcissist. It was actually one of the funniest stories I've read in a while. The other stories either faded in the background or ruined the overall experience. They should've just focused on the main story. I also noticed that this mangaka is really good at writing comedy, but unfortunately is horrible at writing more serious stories/characters. I'm just gonna pretend like the side stories didn't exist, and give it a good rating.
Err.. fine, I guess

I like the title story, and some of the remaining stories are relatively cute, but I wouldn't put this collection anywhere near my list of favs for various reasons. The most prominent one, and I know I'm gonna get flack for this, is because I'm just not a fan of this mangaka's style. I know, I know, Blasphemy, she's so Unique, so Different, so Daring, how could Anyone not like her..?!!?!
Well, that's just how it is for me. I find her presentation too messy and confusing most of the time, and even when her ideas are actually groundbreaking and ahead of her time, her execution usually leaves me cold and unsatisfied with how the final product turned out in the end. But, she is unique, I'll give you that, and too each their own of course.

The title story and it's related oneshots were the best ones in this volume. They were hilarious.
I really liked "Dreams Unfold at Night" too. The mangaka dealt with the topic very well.
The way "Minun Musiikki" was told/drawn was interesting. The pacing was unique.
"Love Dancing Beneath My Eyes" and "Loathe!" were both ok but nothing very special.
While reading "She's Missing", it felt like I was missing something. The ideas and sequences were good but it felt lacking in some way. Perhaps if the mangaka made this more darker and dwelled on the unhealthy perception the boys had on rape, this oneshot would have felt a bit more substantial to me.

i'm in love with her manga ^^, the relationships she describes is just something I'm looking for in my real life - her characters are attentive and thoughtful, emotional and alive.
I wish there were a longer voluminous shounen ai/yaoi story from her, that I could read. Not only the short ones.

A few of the stories, I just clicked through because although there must've been some kind of underlying message or sweetness, it didn't really stick with me the way Yamashita Tomoko's other works do. Although I will say that I really enjoyed the title story, Yes It's Me. I seriously love the way Toma and Enoki's relationship works out. It's a refreshing type, because most of the time yaoi tends to be a little melodramatic and such. To be honest, I think that they're my favorite yaoi couple. The way Enoki's face is mostly deadpan, yet he can say things to Toma like being his object of lust, I find that really amusing. Toma's not bad himself, his narcissism is just amazing, haha. I knew that Yamashita Tomoko could make comic relief here and there, but to have a story that's not so serious like her other works is really nice. It just shows that not only can she make poignant, bittersweet ones, but funny ones as well.
Some stories are fantastic, others aren't developed enough...

Yamashita Tomoko is amazing at creating well rounded characters that seem really real, but since these were a whole bunch of one shots there isn't too much development. I like the art, but it's not as beautiful as say, Nekota Yonezou's, but it works and shows the emotions of the characters well.
The Enoki x Toma pairing was definitely my favorite. I haven't laughed that much for a BL manga in a really really long time. Their characters were so completely unique and their love was based off of so much more than the usual have-sex-and-then-suddenly-realize-how-beautiful-the-other-person-is storyline. They were definitely the most memorable and I'm glad they got 3 chapters.
The other pairings on the other hand were ok. The oneshot about gender issues was well done considering the topic it was dealing with, but there wasn't enough space to completely develop the ideas. I've seen better mangas dealing with gender issues (i.e. Welcome to Room 305), but it did fairly well for what it was attempting to do. The pianist pairing was fairly well done, but I'm probably not going to remember them in a couple of days and the very first pairing I've already sort of forgotten.
The second story I completely didn't understand. Perhaps I wasn't reading carefully enough or something, but there seems to be a love triangle between 2 guys and a girl (and since this is bl one of the guys is in love with the other one obviously). The relationship between the three seems to be complex, but there's not nearly enough space to develop it. What I ended up with, instead of what was potentially a good story, was a puzzled feeling that I was missing something really big. And the whole thing about the rape issue and how the boys deal with it regarding the girl was rather...disgusting.
Overall, an ok oneshot series. Read the Enoki x Toma stories for sure - they were really amazing. The rest I would skip unless you have time to waste.

There's nothing graphic, and the art is decent. At first I thought it was just like any other boys love manga, but there's just something about how the story and the character develop that really got me. I absolutely loved the story "yes its me" and its subsequent chapters, I found it absolutely hilarious and strangely refreshing. If you've got some time to spare, do pick this one up and give it a shot.

Judging from one chapter is kind of hard, and I don't know if the first chapter is a oneshot or if it's continued in one of the next oneshots. If it isn't continued, it isn't that good a oneshot. Not really memorable, but let's wait and see, sometimes this mangaka makes some pretty interesting stuff.
