This is 100% Miyamoto Kano. I really like this mangaka because her works (usually) are engrossing, interesting, a bit dark, have a plot and it's not just a mere plot, but it's a strong deep storyline with twists, some mysteries, references to Japanese mythology, hot sex scenes and every advantage that makes a book the good one, entertaining and worth to read. She wrote/drawn a lot of stories and what's good - they aren't the same. I like that they are deep-set in reality, I mean it's a kind of stories that may happen in the real life. She often choose bad boys for characters, the same is here. This manga is also a bit dark. The art is really nice. Indeed she have her own drawing style, some people may say it's not pretty but I really like it. She knows how to build up tension, love scenes are hot, filled with passion and lust, just simply well done.
What's more? it's better than previous part of Moony Trilogy, there's humour and sadness, language sometimes is complicated (there's an English poetry) which can cause difficulties even for advanced English speakers (geez, I was compelled to use dictionary so many times...) so be prepared! ; )
It was a great fun! You should read it.

I wonder what the heck I was doing before reading these incredible stories (not only this volume, but Moony as well).
I tend to always read those heart-warming yaoi that I love, and decided on this series for a change when I wanted to try supernatural, mystery, tragedy etc...
There was a twist of emotions inside of me while reading it. There was happy moments, sad ones, heart-breaking, moments where I cried, characters I loved...
It's so realistic, so full of emotions that you almost feel as if the character and their stories are real. That's a really touching series, totally enjoyable, not only for BL enthusiastics, but for everybody that enjoys a good plot.
This is not a story for you to focus on the characters gender, but their feelings, the situations they're in, the hardships they have to overcome, the decisions they have to make and trust me, you will be cheering for them throughout the stories.
It is a series to love and re-read as many times as possible (I'm saying this even though this is the first time I've read it, but oh well...) and to hold really dear.

As with all her works, this is realistic (in terms of personalities and actions, I do realize there's some paranormal/mysterious stuff going on here), captivating and beautiful.
I've liked Miyamoto Kano-sensei since the first piece I read of her and lately, she's rising fast in my list of favorite mangaka.
Her characters are AMAZING! They are so perfectly flawed, they act human, you just fall in love with them right away. They grow, they learn, they suffer and I just love how the mangaka is able to draw all those things, those emotions so well, in her rather rough, sketchy art style.
This volume, as well as the prequel, is even a bit darker than many of her other works, even though most of them have that realistic touch - where not everything's rose-colored and beautiful.
Miyamoto Kano is also one of those mangaka who put a great plot into all of her mangas. This is the stuff you read when you want a STORY, one that just happens to have delicious sex scenes as well.
The gloomy, angsty, dramatic stories here are really interesting to read and there's really nothing negative I can say here, except that I would have liked to read more.
Especially Suwa, the character who has a part in both volumes... it's a bit depressing to see him go from lover to lover and he never really finds happiness. Since I'm a sucker for such dramatic, depressing characters though, he's probably my favorite (except for the story with Nanjo) and so I really would love to see another volume, just about how Suwa finds his happy end! Haha.
It's dark, it's beautiful, it's realistic, sometimes gloomy and depressing, sometimes sweet and heartwarming... I'd recommend this to anyone, even if you aren't into yaoi but you can tolerate it.
It's really worth the read for the characters and the plot.

I enjoyed it very much. Though the stories were sad for the most part, i cant say it was a tear jerker. The majority of the characters were really lovable and the stories, even though they were sad, were also touching. I felt for the charaters.
I really feel for Suwa the most. He just cant get a break. First it was a cruel lover, then a guy who was in love with someone else, then a mental lover. I just wish he can get his happy ending. I have to say i enjoy the stories with Suwa the most. I think Miyamoto sensei should make a book solely focusing on Suwa. I'd bet it'd be one of her best.
And of course, i loved the art.

Wow. The entire volume is full of cute stories that really fill you up. Chapter 7 was the most striking of all of them. A bit twisted but somehow really cute, the author just blew me away with it. I also really favor chapter 5, really amusing and light to read.
