Achei muito fofo esse primeiro capitulo. Rihito e sua grande obsessão por tentar suicídio se o Michiru não quer ele... Os dois personagens foram muito fofos principalmente o Rihito e eu adorei a relação deles.Só que ficou meio vago também se o Rihito acreditou que o Michiru tinha outro namorado ou se conseguiram descobrir a relação entre Rihito e Michiru no final... O segundo também foi muito fofo, eles mal se casaram ou melhor ,mal o Rihito tinha pedido o Michiru em casamento e o ele já queria divorcio depois de saber que o Michiru estava descartando trabalhos.Mas esse casal ficou mito fofo.
O casal Shizuka e Jindai também é muito fofo. Mesmo que o Shizuka fez ações egoístas para ter o Jin ao seu lado.. Eu estava torcendo pro Shizuka ter ficado grávido mas que pena que não...
Natsume e Sanada são um casal muito fofo também...
Esse mangá é ótimo e eu recomendo ^-^

The last story had SO MUCH potential. Damniiiit, for gods sake I HATE IT when authors end good stories like that. Why? Just whyyy? *Really pissed off*

This story is full of smut, or maybe I should say it only contains smut. Didn´t like the main story that much, the two other stories was good.

A good read if you want something short full of sex-scenes.

YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME. That did not just end like that. I completely lost all enthusiasm I had for the other stories. This just killed it! I need to know what happens after! omg why would the story end up like that? WHY Couldn't it have been just a typical, he's blind and he'll recover because he fell in love? I'm too sad now. Ugh. This will be in my mind forever -_- Now I have to read a bunch of happy, cheesy, cliche yaoi just to forget this.

Smut smut smut and love xD Thats about the right proportion too in the story. Lots of smut, and some love on the side haha. But, don't disregard this series because of that. It has a story, it has lovely moments between the characters and the characters themselves are attractive in their personalities. I would especially recommend the final two chapters - these deal with a new short story which is particularly good. I would, in fact, love a continuation of the final story. Anyway, top rating for art and for the characters. Only thing that lets this series down in my eyes is that it could have more depth to the stories in places. All the same, im giving this full marks. Oh and be warned, when i say smut i mean it. No censored privates in this and top quality art to make it even more detailed - also there are some themes of rough play in this series (light bondage and some forceful sex)

OUGI Yuzuha is awesome as usual!! I really love the sequels, i just love the first couple. Eccentric yet so lovable and likable!! Rihito is my favorite character, love it when he turns into a chibi/stalker guy from a cool/star guy. The 2nd couple was a little deep and angsty but in the end turn into a cute couple. The 3rd was ok but the ending was kinda a cliffhanger and left open. Im not really into angsty/drama story so this is my least favorite. Probably a sequel for 3rd couple but it's already 2009 so probably no!! Overall great series and soo happy to see the main couple from star na koi.

i really liked this sequel alot better than the first Star na Koi. maybe cos the character development was already done in the first volume. i really liked Mermaid in the Dark as well. i thought it was quite special. if only the story was longer, or if there was some continuation, thought the ending was a little weak. but all in all, i like this book alot!

Honestly, I loved every part of this manga. It was certainly a lot more serious than the first one, but it was every bit as good. Maybe better. Star ni Ai continued Michiru and Rihito's story, and it was very very cute, with a perfect "happily ever after" ending. The second story was another continuation of a story in the first volume, and I loved how it turned out. I loved how Jin was so devoted to Shizuka, even though Shizuka was eaten up by guilt and felt like it couldn't go on. Very sweet. And then the last story was completely new, and pretty intense. It's not often you see a bishonen with a major defect, like Natsume. The story was kind of dark, especially when it came to that bastard brother and Natsume's parents. But there was a strong love and trust between Sanada and Natsume, and so it was really very touching. I would like to see more of this one. Natsume, after all, does not seem to be over what happened, and it would be interesting to see if he could possibly regain at least some of his eyesight with Sanada there. Yes, the manga's very smutty (not a bad thing, at all =^_^=), but I honestly don't find the storylines lacking. I liked them all.

The Summer series and the In the Dark series delved into some serious and thought-provoking territory: guilt, anxiety-attacks, self-punishment, manipulation, psychological phenomena. Star Na Koi and Star Na Ai were good, but that story line didn't stand out. The movie star scene just sorta annoyed me.

Honey in the Dark and Mermaid in the Dark made up the most memorable story to me. Why does he liked being tied up? Why does he have 'psychological' loss of eyesight? The way Ougi-sensei described the seme's panic attack was real and something the reader could easily relate to. The desires of the two men were honest and complex. The recurring analogy of the mermaid finding his prince and the prince wanting to fall into the darkness of the ocean was beautiful. **Need to continue this one, please Sensei!*

The Summer series was excellent in dealing with guilt and manipulation and self-punishment. (And maybe obsessed devotion on Jin's part? Hoho. Nice to see.)

The characters were all very well, if too briefly, conceived and delivered. Both of the above series were highly enjoyable for the fan-f&*kin-tastic sex scenes and the depth of the human psyche explored.

the main story is alright its full graphic sex scenes, flashback of sex scenes and what's it like to be with someone famous and in a gay relationship , your typical yaoi you might say but

the extra story "mermaid in the dark" was actually really good it had the graphic sex scenes, a blind person, a normal person, brother complex, some bdsm (mostly tying up and some other things) it had everything even a good plot twist and story to bad though that it was kinda left hanging although the ending was not bad it just feels unresolved

and now you know why it got a 9 instead of a 10

Okay manga. It's full of smut so I guess that's why people like it. But the storyline is pretty horrible and has tons of flashbacks. I don't know why something that had no plot in the first place needed a 2nd volume.
