heart it >.<!!
gyaahh!! best manhwa ever! the story even a bit cliche, still have its original side. i never find any romance like this before. i just hate it why it has to be a happy ending. i thought it would be a bad one.
I was abit skeptical about reading this manga, because of those bad reviews. But after reading it, I don't find it bad at all! Definitely one of the best romance manhwa I've ever seen. This manhwa is about a series of bad luck, misunderstandings and obsessive love. Very nice to read! Very dramatic! J is just so sweet to her~~ <3 I don't recommend you to skip any chapters in between because you would be missing out a lot.
On a side note, I've always detested manhwas, because their drawings are simply.. not my taste. This is one of the few manhwas which I really like! It's beautiful.
You have to read it!
When I first read this story, I was swept away. Rereading has revealed a major fault in the plot, but the story is done well enough that it's almost hidden. But the last time I did read it, I found myself thinking "Really?" at the endless stream of previously unrelated guys who for their own reasons wanted to break up the hero and heroine. As for the two protagonists, Wann excels at giving tortured heroes and Jarte is no exception. What really sets this series apart from her others are the psychologies of her other characters. Not just Jarte, but Jay and even the main antagonist find themselves mentally tortured and brought face-to-face with their own darkest fears. One of the best parts about reading anything by Wann is the art. Clean, graceful lines, breathtaking illustrations, and an attention to detail that more than outweigh the occasional awkward pose.
the best manwha for me so far
this is the best manwha I've ever read so far. Before, my perception about manwha are like only good on drawings but the story is not that moving. I second SAVER anyways. I like the murdering, kidnapping, obsession, stuff here (i must be a manic)...I've been always looking for this type of story, and now I've already found it. Violence and the melancholy of the prince in the story is the one who's pulling the attention, . It sure has a great story and same with the graphics that are oh so moving. But the only thing I don't like here is when all the guys are falling in love with Jay, because it seems that the story is only siding with Jay, how about the prince? Is her role only to drive the prince mad? But I love it because in this story I saw Haou Airen and Mars (mangas i like that has the same genres).
Anyways,,,for those who rants about the characters being psychotic...please look at the genres...it says "psychological" don't expect that the characters/events would be normal, and the story won't depend on what the fans prefers... that's why it has twists to keep the suspense. i'M NOT saying that this manwha is perfect..because there are some parts that i find annoying,,even so, please consider the genres to understand the story.

There are some mangas where the reaction varies from intense HATE to intense LOVE. Well, this is one of those mangas. For me though, it was just simply ah-mazingggg. Lots of girls dream about guys who will just sweep you off your feet and protect you from and danger. But, in reality, it sometimes always isn't just "happily ever after". This manhwa showed that there's gonna be lots of bumpy roads and mistakes. Sometimes Jarte was too possessive and really couldn't protect Jay too well. But sometimes, Jay was the stupid one and misinterpreted things, like what led her to commit suicide (even though she failed). It showed intense character depth, like how life's not all sugar and rainbows. There's lots of dark, twisted roads and sides to humans that even you may not know about, not until an event triggers it. It made me feel a large range of emotions. One moment elated, the next dark and sinister. And they were so vivid, too! What really got me from this manhwa, though, was something Jay had said: "When I fight, regret what I've done, or apologize...It'll have to be with him. With him, I'll feel pain. With him, I'll laugh...Just like that, I'll share the love we have with him, as he will with me. I'm going to be happy together with HIM." I read that line and I cried, I did. It was just so heart-wrenchingly touching! The author wrote that love isn't perfect, that it's about the times you spend together and how you feel about each other. This is, so far, my favorite read, both manga, manhwa, or book. :)
I was really suprised with myself because, even though I sometimes read manhwa's, I've never been really into one. Of course not until I started reading Wann's stuff.
May I say that the art is beautiful? I really love the charactors and heruse of setting and scenery. Although I know quite a few people that didn't like the psycho-ness, but for me that was the selling point. Yeah I know, I'm probably a moron
I like how it explored the darker side of love, and I even liked the fact that it started out as a more or less typical shoujo-ness and then plunged into something like this. The series takes you into a whirlwind of chaos and emotions where doubt and treachery is everywhere.
It was nice reading something drama filled like this, something that made my heart clunch. . . Different from all the other cliche and everyday shoujos (though i must say i still readthose too!)

I do wish that we could have seen the two of them together more within the middle of the book... & me? I really got attached to Luigi there so I kinda didn't like how he was just used & chuckedout & eventually killed just because it was convenient :(
& after deliverying this entire blast of emotions she let her readers atleast have a happy ending. So I applaud that.
I really liked Jarte(right?) even after everything he did... I know. Stupid me! BUT I can't help it, hurting men (especailly such yummy ones!) just get to me.
Kinda reminds me of "First Girl" ... sigh I wish i could find something that jolts me heart this much some time soon!
too much drama, but...
I liked it. I don´t know why. Strange, the prince thing was pretty bad and characters were horrible, but I still enjoyed it. And the drama, too much of it. Don´t even know how many times she was kidnapped.
Their relationship was actually a good one: she is not perfect, he is not perfect, the real life baby. well, this one has a whole galaxy gap from real life... ... yeah. But I liked it. I don´t know why. why?
"Talking about..." from this author is better I think.
this was a really nice story, like said before it managed to avert a lot of cliches quite nicely. if there's anything I didn't really like, it was that at some points the story seemed to repeat the same 'kidnapping/dissapearance, guy goes crazy, she gets saved' pattern a bit. apart from that, the story was really nice and the characters were well portrayed. I really recommend this one!
I loved it
I loved how it was not cliche. Really since he's a prince and all one would expect some type of family interference. nope. none of that. it kept up on my toes for once since it's so unpredictable. And the best thing is that there is a happy ending. i always hate going through emotional turmoils and end up getting disappointed since it was all for nothing.
Contented sigh. I really enjoyed this series. Beautiful, stunning, interesting and funny at times... This series ended well, and was also complimented by a wonderful first few volumes. Sometimes I was outraged at what the male figures were doing... The ever-constant rape concept wasn't very realistic, because rape is just a form of wanting to feel powerful over someone to me. @_@ I really loved the romance though, compared to the series' rape concept.. I really related to the heroine, Jay, because she understood everyone around her so well, their actions were forgiven allot because she understood what they were going through when they acted. She is human after all though, so she had some times when she became all witchy when she needed to be. <3 I really look forward to reading more of this manhwaga's works. <3
