Description
Arisawa Kei’s life seems rather bleak until she notices a strange man staring at her on the way to school. Hakamada Ryuuhei, an En specialist who can see and tie or cut threads of fate, tells her that she has “death-bringer” threads on her hands. I kinda like the storyline although it's pretty short. And well, since it's a oneshot, I can't complain about the character's development since...it's just a oneshot after all. But still, it's a nice read.
I really do enjoy this mangaka's work and this oneshot is definitely a very nice read. Artwork is very good and the plot is good especially with the minor hints or foreshadowings. I would have liked the backstories of the characters to be shared more, but that would require more pages.
I didn't think it was that bad, I don't know why the rating is so low. I generally enjoyed it and liked the art. Yes, I think we all would want it to be longer and expand on the ending but honestly I don't expect all that much from oneshots in the first place. They're 1 chapter long. How far can you really get? Maybe the real problem with this one is that it set it up a tad too much like a series would be rather than just a short story. And I didn't think the ending was bad, it was just very open. But overall it is likable, I would read it if it were a series.

Now that's over with, I have to say I'm very disappointed. Mostly because I was quite taken by this manga. The art was nice and I found myself enjoying the story. But when it got to the climax of the story it all sort of came to nothing really. There certainly wasn't any kind of progression with the romance.
Maybe what needs to happen is the mangaka needs to do a little bit of an extra or something because there was no real conclusion.
Can't say I'm surprised though. I've lost count of the amount of times I've written 'it didn't feel finished'.
I'd say give it a read though if you're bored.
