The story is fine. Pretty big age gap, but the art is good. It's pretty one-note and basic shoujo drama.

HOWEVER- the one shot is AMAZING. I highly recommend. Much more reasonable age gap, and the characters are fresh and interesting. I love the indie shy clerk.

How freaking adorable was the oneshot XD Totally loved it!

Main story was nice for an age gap story but there was hardly anything about the age gap between them and there was hardly any character development. It was nice but it would be more rated at 6-7. It could have been better with more story development but at least it was sweet. XD

Like the other commentors, this series was trash.
The detective was a total sleazeball to say the least, and the girl acted petty, jealous and downright annoying.
Well, they were both equally terrible.
And the 3.5 one-shot was especially nauseating.
So yeah, everything = bad.
Except for the one-shot (ch.4). That was cute.
The art was decent too. (The only reasons why this is getting a 5/10.)

so i read the comments for this manga and decided to take everyone's advice and just skip straight to the end and read the little bonus story and im so glad i did! i almost died from cuteness. so the rating is purely for the bonus story.

the main story is lame and boring , i actually didn't plan on finishing it .. but i just skip to the last chapter and i'm glad i did .i really loved the one shot <3 its cute and so sweet spically the clerk my god >< His a hotti :3 i recomend only the last chapter

A 16/17 yr old gets together with a 30 yr old dude. There should be something interesting and/or forbidden going on here, but nope! The girl is obviously shown as being besotted to a pathetic self-degrading degree while the guy plays hot and cold as he sees fit until finally he gives in at some arbitrary point. Their relationship pre and post mutual love is shown in a sort of cute light, with the worries that may be realistic to a couple with such an age gap, but it's not terribly interesting or moving.

The art, especially the bishie depiction isn't half bad, but he is just always holding that stale ol cigarette of his! It gets annoying after a while!

EDIT: The last chapter which is a separate story it itself about a girl who meets a cute slightly older clerk at a dvd rental place is very sweet and well paced. It made me feel silly and gooey enough that I upped the rating for the volume a bit. Definitely recommended
