This manga really hit close to home for me.. it almost made me cry. A beautiful work that deserves much more recognition. The two main sisters really spoke to me, and the lesson learned is just too good to miss! Read it.. i swear you wont regret it. ;-; oh, and i just wish there was a tad more info given on the dad..

"Soshite, Haru ni naru" is the perfect example of what I look for in both josei/shoujo mangas. Really great art, and somewhat realistic slice of life/romantic life about the women of a family. There is no sudden and dramatic romantic interests, just the nuances of daily troubles and life.The only minor glitch I have with it( doesn't really impact my enjoyment of the manga) is that the older characters look too comical. Otherwise really good.

This is a series of interlocking oneshots about the relationships of the women in a family. The first story is about a lady who has regrets about the way she spent her youth, and how she comes to terms with it with her family. There's a sense of realism to the story, and it's especially relatable for anyone who's ever felt regret about the past or fearful of the constant rush of time. The second is about the lady's daughter and her love story. It's more standard, but pretty cute with an interesting male lead. The stories are nostalgic and poignant with a bit of realistic pain to them. The art suits the stories well, and characters are relatively attractive. I highly recommend them. Give them a whirl if you can!
