Upon the death of his grandmother, country boy Akira Nonaka is taken in by the immensely wealthy and powerful Takatou family. There, he is told that he is a candidate to become next heir to the Takatou name. However, there is another candidate--the princely, handsome Rei, who turns out to be a cousin of Akira's. Far from being competitive, Rei shows no interest in the prospect of inheritance, and instead takes an immediate liking to Akira. Rei's aggressive shows of affection muddle the naive country boy, until Akira begins to discover a budding attraction towards Rei within himself.

koujima nazuki's uke seem to only be capable of two emotions: screaming anger, and wide-eyed cluelessness, and they cycle rapidly between the two. the seme seem to have a third mode; trying to force their loving on the unsuspecting uke. and both of them have a flat learning curve; it goes on for chapter after chapter after chapter. it's is incredibly tiring to read, and i end up not liking any of them. the story overall drags on, nobody ever learns to communicate properly (certainly not by the end of v5), and i swear, the bodyguards are the most incompetent people on the planet. the same plot elements are recycled over and over -- this manga would have made a tight single volume, or maybe 2. but it's gone into 7? i'm not gonna read more. the only thing i have few complaints about is the art -- her wide-eyed chipmunk faces aren't my style, but it's competent, and i can hear screaming hordes of fangirls going KAWAII -- if you like cute, you'll probably like her art a lot.

It's just gotten SO boring, and no, the art doesn't improve. I question why the mangaka couldn't just leave it at vol.1.
