As 1 of the latest series of the famous CLAMP there is no doubt about its quality. characters, drawing, story it's all great. But the plot is really really confused, it started alright and simple but later it become extremely complicated. Now after 200+ chapter I'm totally lost.
Considered its length, I dont think it's a worth read except ppl love fantasy story.

Man, this has to be the most confusing manga that I've ever picked up. The plot really twisted around. Sometimes when i read it I was like "What?", I read it again and then I was more like "Huh?" and finally i read it once more and I was either "Oh so that's it!" or I just kept on reading and didn't bother to try anymore.

Saw the anime - fell asleep

OK. So I never read the manga. But I saw the anime. And it was oh-so-dull. What is the FUSS??

Don't you shoot me down or anything, since everyone should be entitled to their own opinion. And....I literally fell asleep many many times on my bed (watch it in my room).

Girl loses memory, discarded everywhere in the universe. She's always such a weakling, and the boy/dude who loves her and tries to help her is always so stoic. They just hop from one universe to another universe, solve some kinda mysteries here and there, and recover the feathers.

Rinse, Spin Dry and REPEAT CYCLE......wait...lemme add...over......and over.......and over again. episode.. by episode.

Oh God. It's so so so so so boring!!!! When does it ENDconfused Until you collect 1000000000000 feathers? I don't see ANY character development.

Can I put a rating "0"??

Well, this story wouldn't bug me...if the characters weren't well...who they were.

I think that, by this point we've all figured out that The Syaoran and Sakura that they're talking about are the same Syaoran and Sakura form Cardacaptor Sakura, For alot of us CCS is a loved childhood series, so we're trying to keep the images of the innocent and sugarcoated storyline, of CCS, when reading this manga. But then we realize...wait a minute, these versions of Syaoran, and Sakura, are in an alternate universe. And we suddenly realize that the world is not falling apart and it's all going to be okay. Maybe.

I guess the majority of us are a bit bothered by seeing the characters doing things they wouldn't in CCS.

it seems based on last chapters that CLAMP is either want to make this story longer "desperately" or they fail big time to end this ... both ways it made the manga unreadable/boring and sad .. when it started so good

For this series, I'd rather watch the anime than the manga. The manga is very confusing to read, and the artwork is kinda messed up...
I like the earliest chapter of TRC, cause the story is original, unique, and touching. Oh yeah I love Fay character.
But for later chapter i don't have any interest to read it.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle is a pretty confusing manga and it makes your head spin sometimes. There are alot of twists and turns and it's dark towards the middle.

However, this manga has a great plot and keeps you wanting to read more. CLAMP's plot is really deep and keeps you hanging and even at chapter 223 there are alot of questions yet to be answered.

But the cuteness and complexness of the relationships between the Sakuras and Syaorans really makes you want to cry (in a good way).

Either way, I really want to and am going to hang onto this manga untill the end!!! smile

Amazing Series-- Mah Favourite

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle has gotta be the most page-turning, epic, beautiful series I've ever read. The art is just great, and you can see the effort put into each panel and expression. Every single word and action is thought out to the last detail, and things you weren't expecting are gonna pop up again several volumes later.
If you're expecting all the fluffy cheerfulness of Cardcaptor Sakura, which contains the original counter-parts of the main characters Syaoran and Sakura... don't. It's fairly happy and cheerful up to about volume 15... if you still want your fluff, you're not gonna get it.
The amount of layers on each character is incredible, especially Fay D. Flourite (My all time favourite character) who turns out to be nothing like he first appeared. There's the unexpected everywhere, which includes clones, vampires, bloody battles and other.
It seems to have a shojo theme for a while, but believe me, wait 'til you're past at least volume 10... you won't be saying the same thing. The story gets darker every volume, and you keep your eye out for every odd little action that will have significance later on. Hint: Look out for panels which feature a glance from one of the characters, or panels which seem rather pointless... they're anything BUT pointless.

I actually read a lot of this series. I don't even know why. It kept getting weirder and weirder and I was very very confused. But I stuck with it, and after a while I got explanations... somewhat. It didn't seem to be planned; the big plot twist about the origins of the beginning version of the main character (I hope that's not too convoluted for people to figure out what I mean... I can't really say any more without it being a spoiler) was just SO RANDOM. I was like, what the heck?? It seemed like CLAMP threw in a lot of stuff at the beginning without actually thinking about where it all was headed. So the explanations later on didn't make any sense. They were barely connected to the events which occurred previously and they were not logical or reasonable AT ALL.

It was obvious that CLAMP just didn't want to have to get rid of a character or do anything to inconvenient so they came up with a load of crap explanations to make things go the way they wanted them to.

A Very good Story

I love this series. I love fantasy stories like this one, and I love CLAMP's work in general. Very few mangaka can make me read a very very long series, and CLAMP is one of them. The storyline is very good and unique- something that you would not find from anyone else and the illustration is good too. The only downside (and the reason why I gave it a 9 instead of 10) is I'm very very lost right now- I was able to keep up with the storyline for a long time, and recently, I must say, I really don't have much clue as to what is going on. I just hope things get a little less complicated so I will be able to finish the manga with full understanding of what happened.
