Tsubasa Chronicle has been my favorite anime since I first saw it in 2005. Fai and Kuro-puu were a big part of this, and later on I decided to read the manga when I figured the anime would likely not ever finish the story.

I somewhat suspected already
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Syaoran might have a clone
in the first season since I caught the hints in the anime. Though
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Sakura being a clone
was what surprised me more.

I really loved the added drunk scene in Outo, which I was sad never appeared in the anime since that would've been fun to see. ^^

Ahem, anyway, some of the twists thrown into the latter part of the story could have been a bit more gradual than they were. They eventually threw in so much, you didn't necessarily understand all the information thrown at you since it came so fast.

To sum it up, I really enjoyed this manga. So far this is the only work of CLAMP I have thoroughly enjoyed over and over. I'd give it a higher rating, but there was a lot of confusion further into the story that just made it difficult for me to follow along with all the history and family lineage.

I really hate to give this an 8 but the ending did not satisfy me. I read this all in 2 days because i couldn't tear myself away from it. Went to bed late woke up early just to continue reading. Loved every minute of it. I laughed, i cried, and made me smile alot at all the gushy stuff (even between Fye and Kuro-tan XD). BUT then as it started to end i felt that something was missing. Then it ended and i realize what the hell it was that was missing...

Spoiler (highlight to view)
Who the hell was Syaoran?!?!
If you've read this you will come to understand that this guy has no parents at all. Yea i get the part about his clone and Sakura's clone giving birth to him. But that was something that shouldn't have happened. So he had to have real parents somewhere becuase at the end the clones DID NOT EXIST!!
*pulls hair out*
And then him and Sakura share the same name and they were always distined to be together. It all doesn't make sense. There are a bunch of stuff that isn't adding up. The difficult stuff i get but the simple things...wth?!?! (lol kept saying this over and over as it was ending)
I really want to know who he was before all this stuff happened.
And it's kinda gay that the clones lived to have better lives then the orignal Syaoran and Sakura

i can only give this an 9, id like to give it a 10 cause it was fantastic but towards the end they took it a bit far with the whole repeating, time dimension and clone stuff. also although it was a good ending, i still didnt quite like it, if i hadnt of read the epilogue then id of given it a 10, cause the ending would of been just right.

Ok, finished it. And -wow- what a GREAT series! I would have liked to see more different worlds but it was still amazing. I honestly like conclusion-- its very open ended. The only negatives were the depressed stages and chaotic art that appeared towards the end. It actually wasn't that confusing to me... but maybe thats because I read xxxHolic before reading this. Either way, it is amazing.

CLAMP has been my favorite anime/manga creators for ten years now, and when I discovered this manga this year, it was for me as a follow up on Tokyo Babylon (an earlier CLAMP work). It didn't fail to disappoint, and Tokyo Babylon took a faaar back seat to the rest of the storyline. Fai in particular is an amazing character, and his relationship with Kurogane kept me laughing throughout the story. I'm only on volume 14, but I can't wait to finish it!

CLAMP's masterpiece

Without a doubt in my opinion this is CLAMP's greatest work, though xxxHOLiC is yet to end. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles is simply amazing, especially when it gets darker from the Acid Tokyo arc onwards. I like it before that too but afterwards it it gets simply amazing. The revelations and twists in the plot are totally unexpected and everything turns out in a both rediculous and ordered way. The complex relationships and the character development are extraordinary. I won't spoil anything from the contents though I'm sure pretty much everyone that reads this comment already has read the manga too.
You should have some background reading other CLAMP manga or waching animes based on clamp manga to get more of the story. Especially "Card Captor Sakura" and "X"

Man, this has to be the most confusing manga that I've ever picked up. The plot really twisted around. Sometimes when i read it I was like "What?", I read it again and then I was more like "Huh?" and finally i read it once more and I was either "Oh so that's it!" or I just kept on reading and didn't bother to try anymore.

one main reason im reading this is because S2 of xxxholic (which i ADORE) is coming out in April, and there are going to be some crosses between both the shows (since they're both CLAMP productions), so i wanted to understand S2 of xxxholic fully so i started reading....firstly, it is a very 'clamp-ish' type story, secondly, the art is amazing! they have those random shows where they have a double page spread of a picture and you're like...WHOA...on top of that the characters are really cute (I LOVE FAI!!!) and the whole fantasy thing, changing into worlds, its all so magical and amazing, it stretches your reminds me of xxxholic in the sense of that theme, obviously not as ingenius, but you can catch the feel of it

Well, things were VERY interesting when we found out that the Syaoran who's been traveling with his friends was a clone ALL THIS TIME... After the clone Syaoran leaves, the real one's traveling with them. To make matters worse, I don't know if it's right, but the Sakura traveling with them was a frickin' clone too. what happened to the REAL Sakura this time ??? Then it starts to get really confusing because it's not about the feathers anymore. It's more ONE BIG DIFFERENT ARC with awesome actions on their adventures but...they still get the feather reward at the end of the arc... Eh.
