All that matters to 15-year-old Nobara Sumiyoshi is volleyball--she's an awesome player with big-time ambitions. But sometimes it seems like a girl just can't get a break in the competitive world of high school volleyball. Nobara's family wants her to inherit the role of "young mistress," serving rich patrons at her family's old-fashioned Japanese restaurant. No thanks! When Nobara transfers to Crimson Field High School, known for its top-notch volleyball team, it turns out that her mother will stoop to dirty tricks to keep her off the court. With assistance from her feisty Aunt Momoko, who's got some connections at Crimson Field, Nobara decides to start playing offense.

I'm currently doing volleyball in gym and Nobara really makes me appreachate the sport. This is an amazing series so far and I hope to see it continuing to be so.
i want to read this one
I really want to read this one. I think i will give it a try because i like Takanashi Mitsuba's other works and i probaly will like this one and plus it has good ratings from what i see... yup i think I'll get this. if anyone has any advice feel free
I LOVE this Manga! I picked it up initially for the artwork, but OMG! This has become one of my all time favorites! I can't wait to see what happens next! And unlike some of her other mangas, Takanashi seems to know exactly where she is going with this! Or at least, there have yet to be any slow parts. I truly marvel at her ability to portray the strengths and weaknesses of a character, and I really do like how everyone has a fault, espically the main character, gives it a better feel, ya know?
Anyway, this is a MUST READ for any manga reader. And Support the Mangaka! 'Cause I mean, And soon as I can get my hands on a solid copy of the series, you know I'm gonna buy it.
mm, not bad. gets more and more interesting.
A Must Read!
I really love this manga! I have only read up to volume 4 so far but I like how the plot is progressing and I'm a sweet tooth for love triangle romance. The art is amazing and the characters are lovable. It does has some of the typical shoujo manga element to it, but it does not hinder to make a typical shoujo manga. I highly recommend it!
Like all the other works done by TAKANASHI Mitsuba, the art is great~! The storyline is also well thought out and isn't jus the basic shoujo type of manga, but Volleyball is also mixed in with it as well. The characters are nice and each have their own individual personality, focusing on real life aspects such as friendship, love and goals. Don't give up and go for your goal~ Crimson Hero is a must read for all shoujo fans! <3
