Ahh, the memories... I used to like detectives when I was like 9 XD Something funny but not bloody or scary like Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro but something more like Matentei Loki...? Perferably something with supernatural mixed in, but just a plain detective would be fine. Also, please do not recomend a series that has really stupid [unless it's really funny] and predictable cases. Oh yeah, I really don't want a series that's more than 100 chapters... I don't have the time to finish it all ^^'

And for the cute one... Something like slice of life [like Potemayo and Binchou-tan] and comedy. But not romance. ... Unless it's one of Koge-Donbo*'s works. Her's is and exception lol. Thanks in advance!!

Maybe Sket Dance if you like comedy. It's not really a detective manga, but I guess it could fit somehow.

You could try Hanako and the Teller of Allegory for a detective manga with supernatural themes.
